Try looking at it this way:
Avid MGoBlog readers understand it to be a shot at Hoke, but what if you were a recruit seeing it for the first time? It could be interpreted as Hoke wondering what all the fuss was about. Chucky could be a shot at Gruden and the kitten, well, could maybe represent a fan base tired of it all and ready to move on with Brady.
Just sayin' ...
