From the little bits and peices that I have been able to watch at work, it seems like our defense in the 2nd half has not been good.  Is that a fiar assesment or have I tuned in at the wrong moments?

Good learning experience  in a lot of ways for  young team. Not going to play many teams that get after you like Purdue does, I think M will be much better prepared the next time they face this type of defensive effort.

...but not unexpected.  Beilein and his assistants have their work cut out for them to get the team's collective head in the right place after this result.

Good thing PSU is up next.

on the road in the Big Ten is not easy.  The fact that Penn St. did tells me something, regardless of how good or bad IU is.  They have Battle, Brooks and Jackson - plenty of firepower to light us up if we play like this again.

This offense has a lot of motion to it, but not a lot of quality screens. Guys cutting back and forth aimlessly while the ball is stuck outside the perimeter.

<br>Is this all to setup a pretty backdoor cut? Those will only happen one or twice a game, so I hope the offense is designed for something else inside the arch as well.

see this coming.  Thought this would be a tight game and go down to the wire.  Thought Morris would continue tearing it up.  Thought that Purdue, with only Johnson and Moore as true scorers, could be limited with our new found nasty man to man D.  Guess I was wrong on all counts.  HATE HATE HATE losing conference games at home.

I was working on my walk in closet until there were about 3 minutes left, and not enough time to come back. I will make sure not to jinx the team against PSU.

that the last 2 teams we've played have shot more than 50% from behind the arc...  Purdue was 10-18 (55.6%) and Bryant was 13-25 for 52%.

Not good, not good at all.

A guy gets in your face 25 feet from the basket, he's begging to get beat off the dribble, Smot couldn't make it happen today, but he's got the type of swag, that will take advantage of that opportunity in the near future.
