for a 14-2 season. Are YOU ready for a 14-2 season?
September 26th, 2010 at 12:16 PM ^
beats the Vikings and sends them to 0-3, I will be really happy today. Maybe Favre will throw a few more INT's around to help out?
September 26th, 2010 at 1:42 PM ^
Well he threw one so far so let's hope he keeps it up!
September 26th, 2010 at 12:24 PM ^
Favre should have hung up his cleats! Lions win! Vikings don't have a deep threat, which plays into the Lions hands, since we don't have good DBs.
September 26th, 2010 at 12:28 PM ^
...of always getting the best of the Lions. I see no reason to think differently today, unfortunately.

I actually took them at +11.5. I have no idea if its a good idea or not.
EDIT: Strike that, just made the play at +13. Still dont know if its a good idea or not, lol

Because the Lions seem to drop a turd in Minnesota more than anywhere else, but they look closer to a 2-0 team than Minnesota has. Add that the Lions can score, and the Vikes offense has been abysmal, if the Lions can score a few points, that becomes a huge spread. Maybe not the best bet of the day, but a good one.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:17 PM ^
I got em in a teaser at +18.5.
Even if they get blown out early (unlikely cuz Vikes have no weapons at WR), Lions got a good shot of backdoorin that line...
More likely Best breaks 1 or 2 runs and Lions put up 14-20 pts.

God is there anything worse than the atmosphere at an NFL game?
September 26th, 2010 at 1:11 PM ^
WNBA?
September 26th, 2010 at 1:51 PM ^
Sparty vs. FAU (FIU? sorry, can't keep them straight) was worse. Take a normal NFL stadium, cut the attendance by 2/3, factor in that the opponents were just there for a paycheck (wait, that part sounds like the NFL) and you have a recipe for disaster.

OT in the OT: Do I start McNabb against the Rams or Vick against the Jags?
September 26th, 2010 at 1:07 PM ^
Link to watch the game online? The link I got from before doesn't seem to be working (atdhe.net)

Lions offense needs to grow some balls. Srsly guys.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:17 PM ^
At least we have Michigan this year. Last year was utterly demoralizing because of the shititude of my teams.
Is it Saturday yet?
September 26th, 2010 at 1:26 PM ^
Vikings shooting themselves in the foot. D got bailed out on a couple of penalties.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:28 PM ^
Anyone else seen the Lexus commercial 5,000 times? I am about to break my TV due to that one commercial.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:35 PM ^
to throw an interception sooner or later, because that's what he does. But I didn't expect him to throw it to a defensive lineman.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:36 PM ^
My hometown is proud.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:37 PM ^
Big Int by Corey Williams to the Vikings 12.
Touchdown pass to Tony Scheffler!!!!!
7-0. with 3:04 left in the 1st.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:38 PM ^
But if the Vikings lose today, what day of the week does Favre re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-retire?
September 26th, 2010 at 1:44 PM ^
It appears that Michigan passed their punt-catching woes on to the Lions. Cripes.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:54 PM ^
30 second after I turn on the television set, what happens? I thought I was having a flashback.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:45 PM ^
INT !!
September 26th, 2010 at 1:45 PM ^
Harvin burns some random guy unsurprisingly.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:45 PM ^
CLASSIC Lions.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:47 PM ^
Leon Hall just picked off Jimmy Clausen.
Ahh just like old times...
(ED: Oops a little late there.)
September 26th, 2010 at 1:49 PM ^
Made it worth it.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:46 PM ^
freaking no excuse for that.
September 26th, 2010 at 1:53 PM ^
BEAST.
September 26th, 2010 at 2:02 PM ^
3 long FGs and the only one to not go in is the one I wanted to (the Lions, natch')
September 26th, 2010 at 2:06 PM ^
by the rules I hate the most: the NFL's roughing the passer rules. Why is the quarterback's head more special than anyone else's? That penalty won't get called for anyone else.
September 26th, 2010 at 2:15 PM ^
Brett Favre's head is more special than other QBs. Guh, I hate Favre
September 26th, 2010 at 2:13 PM ^
wow what a catch
September 26th, 2010 at 2:29 PM ^
The Justin.tv stream was closed. Any other links?
September 26th, 2010 at 2:32 PM ^
Is going to be answering some questions about their end of half time management...
September 26th, 2010 at 2:47 PM ^
instead of letting him dump it off? He's 80 years old!
September 26th, 2010 at 2:57 PM ^
When Favre is throwing to a guy BEHIND him?!?
September 26th, 2010 at 3:06 PM ^
did anyone else notice when they did a close up of Vanden Bosch how he had blood red eyes? he looked scary as hell.
September 26th, 2010 at 3:09 PM ^
Funny that the only thing I took away from Peterson's long run for a TD was that DRob seems faster.
September 26th, 2010 at 3:09 PM ^
makes an incredible one handed catch. Gotta love it
September 26th, 2010 at 3:09 PM ^
Schwartz needs to grow some on those 3-2 calls. This is a throwing league. That run to the right was completely predictable. No way you're gonna get two against the Vikings DL when they can easily read your play.
September 26th, 2010 at 3:18 PM ^
to call offsetting personal fouls -- it's just like calling nothing, which would be a better option than calling meaningless penalties.
