I don’t think Southern Cal is all that great, to be honest. WMU played them pretty well, ND destroyed them and they didn’t real beat up on any team that was above average. However, sweeping a decent Stanford team was impressive. It may just come down to which QB throws the fewest picks. A coin toss perhaps but I’d give the edge to the nuts.

Hard to believe that IA blew out OSU. When we went up 14-0, I thought we were on our way to a rout of OSU but our D still has trouble with option QBs.

of a head coach. BC has one of, if not the best running game in the country - which is exactly what Addazio wants, that's what he's got the job for, tough, old-school NFL type football.

BC also has had some great defenses during his tenure. So you'd think, you finally got that smashmouth offense that's pushing people around and you got a track record for good defense, so you surely got it all figured out now. But you're 7-5 and in the Pinstripes Bowl and this is his best season there.

I get the ACC is a tough conference now - at least tougher than it was in the early 2000s when O'Brien won 8-9 games every year - but at some point they'll probably decide 7 wins isn't all that and the next down season they'll can him. And that again raises the question of just how much success you can have with this style of a football team if you're not recruiting 4/5 stars all over the place.

Is having pro teams in the north dumb? Excluding big markets from being able to see live bowl games is dumb. I would love to see some of these SEC teams travel up above the Mason Dixon line this time of year. Could you imagine a CFB playoff game at soldier field or lambo? That would be insane.

Oof, that guy was so open on second down.

We'll see if this 3 point lead will be enough for the Iowa defense to grab a win. 20-17 Hawkeyes with just over 11 minutes to play.
