OT: Best insider site to sink money into
Last year at this time, the reason I joined mgblog was due to the juicy tidbits of info from fall camp, especially the QB battle. Living out of state, I had never heard of mgoblog prior to someone else recommending umbig11's posts.
With UM ,and nowUMBIG11, going into submarine mode this time of year, I'm left salivating at the opportunity to get some inside info on the camp battles, injuries, etc. So, to fill that need, it sounds like I may have to open up the wallet.
My question to the board: which site is worth the money? I don't want to buy into them all, but I do want to quench my thirst for the deets.
Thanks in advance.
As a former subscriber to scout and rival, I will go ahead and disagree with you. All of the insider information ends up on here. The longest period I have seen between insider info being posted on an insider site and on mgoblog, is around 30 minutes.
You can get it here for free because someone will spill the beans.
upper right of the dashboard here at mgoblog. feed the machine....

solving your problem with (loving, life-affirming) aggression?
could have a very subtle effect.
Agreed... I got the 9-for-1 starting right after the Orange Bowl, and man it's slow... The converstaions are much better here, and really the only new insight I got was into the Soloman/Najee recuitments
In no way would that be a replacement of mgoblog, it would just be an additional piece of info. I have an unhealthy level of interest in michigan football and browse google, blogs, twitter, at intervals throughout the day trying to find that one nugget of good info.
Regarding UMBig11, if I recall correctly he has a new exclusive deal with Rivals, for what it's worth.
Good for Rivals, they will have some worthwhile info now.
He's had the deal for a few months now, it's not that new.
I believe michigan 247 has a free deal going now, so you can try it out. Only thing to be careful of is that you need to call to cancel or you will be charged. I will say Lorenz isn't for everyone. He doesn't write content just to fill a quota, if he has something he shares, if he doesn't there are fewer updates. From what I understand, Webb is great but not always around as much as subscribers want.
You may also be best to wait beause with Scout and 247 merging onto the same platform there may be a deal for both at a combined price.

Yep. I've also noticed he gets asked about EVERY kid that has ever touched a football. There are kids every year I hardly pay attention to because they're obvious longshots but there'd be "Steve anything new on obvious longshot" threads daily over there.
Scout info was too slow for me. I think it's best for Sam's fall camp updates. Otherwise, eh. 247s message board isnt much better but I like it more overall.
Still a good site for info, Phil does a good job.
Doesn't 24/7 get you insider acces to every team as well? Not just Michigan.
You mean, literally having to use your phone to cancel? No online option to click "cancel my subscription" ?
Yep, they make it harder to cancel so people stay subscribed instead of going through the hassle.

Buy a gift card. For 3.95 plus thier 9.99 subscription fee you get 4 months of 24/7 right now. I can justify 14 bucks for 4 months of a service. This way you need not worry about cancelling.
I wouldnt do Scout I get everything Sam has on WTKA.
I'd recommend paying the $4.99 for the upgraded mgoblog site that doesn't make you feel like you are in 2005.
There is joy to be found in the "inside info". Maybe you don't need it: good for you.
But technically, when you question people's hobbies, people can question yours. For instance, if a game is just about winning and losing, why do you need to watch the game? Can't you just check ESPN for the scores to know? Why waste your time watching a game when you can be outside building a compost pile and planning for zombie invasions.
Moral of the story: to each their own.
To be absolutely fair to the people who do enjoy having timely access to such things all the time, not absolutely everything shows up here immediately. It does end up here eventually because of some of the connections that exist as well as Twitter and other channels. I guess it comes down to those who really enjoy unfettered immediate access versus folks like myself who don't mind the wait for the inevitable leak.

Im not buying it for the 'insider info'. Its more content to read. Like buying a paper every day.
UPDATE:
My dad is out of prison, thanks
