Uber talented receivers, Peters' big arm, and Chris Evans running circles around the defense.

Sounds fun.

"They need that 6-foot-5 receiver," Collins said. "They have a lot of shifty, slot receivers, but need a big guy."

Don't tell Nico that Michigan also signed:

DPJ at 6'2"
Black at 6'4"
Hawkins at 6'1"

Crawford at 6'1"

D. Harris at 6'4"
M. Ways at 6'4"

Not to mention TE's:
Asiasi at 6'3"
Eubanks at 6'6"
McKeon at 6'5"
Wheatley at 6'6"
Gentry at 6'7"
Bunting at 6'7"

But I guess he's correct; we don't have a 6'5" anywhere in the WR group. CHO CHOOOO

I understand all three of your points. But, I was under the impression that both DPJ and Black are projecting to playing outside WR. Also, Hawkins looks really good on the outside too, if he stays on offense. I get that Harris and Ways may have missed their chances to start and get majority reps, but they are both 6'4" bodies that are outside receivers.

And I just really enjoy typing out our list of TE's. I get that there is no relation to TE height+roster depth, and playing time for a true freshman 6'5" WR.

With Evans set to be the primary back and looking to utilize Crawford and McDoom I could see us going to a lot more spread formations, even Bunting fits as a great spread TE. The ability to swing back and forth from a spread to the Kaiju package could give defenses fits.

Evans the main back? Boy I must be the only one who doesn't see this. He better put on at least 15 to 25 lbs. because he wont last the whole season as the primary back in the B1G. Pretty sure at his current weight, he's not the guy you want in there on 2nd and 3rd downs and under 5 yards to go either. I'm just not sold on Evans as the guy. I'd love to be proven wrong but man if he could break some tackles with power, think how lethal he could be. You need to build muscle to get stronger and break tackles. If the wind gusts are over 30 mph, Michigan isn't getting a first down with Evans.

Edit: He'd be like Jabrill with the ball but more shifty and juke you out of your socks. He'd run right through defenders arms as their ankles are being broke and their rest of their body falls the opposite way. That's what Evans could be if he bulked up.

And I do believe Peters pushes to start.  As mentioned before, he was on intramural team with Jbooty, Jlew etc.  He was the most athletic, and doing tomahawk dunks.  Kid is elite, and my bet is they get his feet wet early.  Week2-5 he could play significant mins and when Speight gets wobbly he takes over.  Last year down in Bradenton Sam also agrees he was the best passer and has the most upside/tools.  I think he can win a heisman here, call me crazy, but don't forget you heard it here first.

Read it again: "I do believe Peters pushes to start.  As mentioned before, he was on intramural team with Jbooty, Jlew etc.  He was the most athletic, and doing tomahawk dunks.  Kid is elite, and my bet is they get his feet wet early...Last year down in Bradenton Sam also agrees he was the best passer and has the most upside/tools."

Clearly, this poster likes Peters' chances to start at point guard for the basketball team. Sounds so good I agree!
