Michigan Jordan AJ Trainer 1 shoe? Looks like it!
MGoFish retweeted this guy who appears to have a leak on the Jordan AJ Trainer 1 shoes that will be unveiled on August 2nd along with the jerseys.
They will be released for sale on August.
These seem to check out as these are the regular AJ Trainer 1s.

From the topic, I was assuming they only got 1 shoe. I thought that might be awkward.
I've got to get a pair.

You know it's there. Should that not be all that matters? You get shoes because you like them, not to please others.
Is it ok for basketball players to walk on the Block M at center court?
The Jumpman logo is at the bottom of Air Jordan Vs. I don't think MJ has a problem with it.
As an adult in my 50's I would wear them. My only problem is Nikes have never, ever come even remotely close to comfortably fitting my fat feet.
My feet have greatly limited my choice in footwear. Pretty much have to stick to New Balance and some Asic shoes for tennis shoes, and even then, it is a limited choice selection. I don't think I'd pick these up for me anyways as they aren't my style and probably way more than my cheap ass is willing to spend on shoes, but I get the wide feet thing.
OK, I'll be the one.
I can't see any reason why I, as an adult, would ever wear these shoes.
Maybe to, you know, train?

'cause you're a lemming with more money than brains? Or someone gave you the shoes as a gift? I can't think of why else you, as an adult, would ever wear those shoes. Or pay ridiculous amounts of money to have them.
I can't stand the fact that Sam and Ira have just become a daily multi-hour ad for clothes.
Yes, they're shoes. Yes, they're Michigan apparel. Yes, they're amazingly ugly.
The first two plusses don't outweigh the third, very significant negative.
I wore athletic shoes this morning. Went out and rode about 12 miles on the trails for almost an hour. My issue isn't really the shoes. My issue is paying inflated prices for shoes that may or may not be good. I have nothing against Nike, and have owned a number of Nike shoes. But from what I've understood, the whole purpose of Jordan is marketing. The goal is to create a "must have" shoe, because people will pay lots of extra money to have that label. Back in the day, people paid extra money to have a little izod alligator embroidered on their shirt. Some pay extra for a polo horse logo. I'd say, buy the best quality product you can at the best price you can, regardless of the label.
The quality and fit and comfort of Nike vs. New Balance vs. Reebock vs. Adidas is one issue. Price is another. Some shoes fit some feet better than others.
One last issue for me has to do with wages and labor and buying American. I have owned cars made in Korea and Japan, and apparel from all over. But part of me likes supporting American made goods when possible. When the wage to make shoes are $1.50 an hour in Vietnam and Malaysia, that's not a level playing field, imhe. So if the price is about the same, and the quality the same, I'm more likely to buy New Balance, since they are the only athletic shoe manufacturer to still make shoes in the USA.
Well darn, you'll just have to stick with those sick maize and blue crocs until something more your style comes along.
Since getting married all of my shoes have a purpose. Apparently I need a pair of black boots to wear when I'm wearing black pants. A pair of brown shoes for when I'm wearing khakis. Black flip flops for black shorts, etc. Who knew there were that many different kind of shoes? My biggest choices are which pair of running shoes to buy to actually, you know, run in.

For sports, I usually wear New Balance shoes. They are comfortable, have good cushioning and support, the price is ok, and I like to support a company that still makes shoes in the USA.
I happen to have a pair of maize and blue Croc flip flops with the old style "M" (with the logo) because they were in the sale bin at TJ Maxx. Couldn't beat $6 for a pair of new Crocs. Only pair I own.
Most of my shoes are pretty boring and comfortable . . . Florsheim Oxfords, Bass Weejuns Penny Loafers, Sperry Topsiders, Bass Bucks. I need a pair of Clark Wallabees.
Because you need gym shoes and are also a Michigan fan? Do you own Michigan gear?
Some people just love to be the contrarian
Make it happen Nike/Jordan Brand.
