So...a wildling, then?

I've lived in Cincinnati for many years now, and let me say that there are a LOT of U-M fans here...some have been living in the shadows since 2002, of course.

But a disturbing trend: I've seen VERY FEW people/cars since I've been in my current house (since 2001) sporting any kind of MSU stickers or gear...but I've seen four such people/cars just within the past week. That shit's gotta end.

We also have way too many Notre Dame fans here, too...and our dominant Catholic high school football league (of which my HS was a part of) is no doubt at least partially responsible.

But it's sweet we are the first. Jordan on other sidelines won't draw as much attention as the first time. He looked good in Carolina blue. But he'll look great in Michigan Blue!

"Whoa, I didn't see that one coming." For a while I was like what should they do next? But now I just snicker and go back to work and wait for the next thing they come up with. Coach is on it.

Michael Jordan played basketball at North Carolina.  The same North Carolina who defeated Michigan in the NCAA tournament in 1987, 1988 and in the Championship game in 1993.

I know it's terribly exciting to have a Jumpman logo on our pants and all but damn it I wonder if everyone would this euphoric if somebody on the 2013 Louisville Cardinals basketball time started a clothing line.  I wonder if you'd want one of the their players to be an honorary captain to a football game to celebrate our new fashion excitement.

The problem is, IMO, most of you guys have zero memory of us losing to those fuckers again and again so having their best player represent us means nothing to you.  For us old-timers it's a bit of a kick in the nuts to be honest.

I wonder how these guys feel about it?
