Tough day for the MGo corona…

Tough day for the MGo corona bros. Go Blue.

I always look forward to…

I always look forward to your posts, thanks.  Probably a good sign he cancelled his OV to one of the dirtiest schools in college hoops, at least Blue has a chance.  Excited for the first true Juwan commit, hopefully a couple dominoes fall after.  Go Blue

Who is Ray King? Jimmy Who is Ray King? Jimmy Jackson was part of the Fab 5? ESPN is the worst.
Odds

MSU is currently tied w/Kentucky & Duke on Bovada as favorite to win it all (+800).  Michigan is 13th at +2800.

The Situation

Meanwhile, in East Lansing....

Free Cab I can't believe I read 150 comments about $5 pizza. I ordered a pizza in store at Happy's once after the bar for delivery & got the driver to bring me along.
You're welcome for not having

You're welcome for not having to look at my ugly mug.  Talked to Jimmy a few months ago for almost 30 minutes about Nike and Michigan back in the day, he was almost as excited as I was talking about kicks.  Super nice guy.  It's a good day today.  Go Blue!

Swag Calling it "Project Swag" completely rules out Adidas. Lucrative could mean $ in the long run, they could get creative with the contract just like they're doing with recruiting.
Adidas Adidas, LOL.
Designers at adidas actual

Designers at adidas actually get paid for what they do, it's incredible.

Nike

I also enjoyed myself at Applebee's. This was a chance to get my sneakers signed by Mr. King and maybe get a few questions in about my favorite squad of all-time.  A few quick things for the 0.01% of people who care about sneakers and Nike.

  • Jimmy said "yes" and smiled after asking him if Michigan will be going back to Nike.  I asked how sure he was and he smiled again and said "Yes, they have to."  We then both shook our heads about how terrible Adidas and their gear is.
  • He went through 10 pairs of Nike Huarache's his freshman year because they were actually cross training shoes and the back sole kept splitting open on him.
  • The team picked the Huaraches to wear because they were different and nobody else wanted to wear them.
  • They asked Nike to make a black/blue model which they did because of the team asking for them (these were recently re-released a few weeks ago by Nike).
  • The black Air Force Max (1993 tournament) is his favorite sneaker of all-time and told me how comfortable and durable they were.
  • When he first started practicing at Michigan he wore low top Air-Force 1's.
  • He said Chris would "definitely" sign my shoes (1 down and 4 to go).
  • Jimmy's mom has 1 of his jerseys (he thinks) but he gave all his shoes/gear away to his friends back in the day.
  • Asked me about Harbaugh and what I thought (who cares what I think?) and he's very excited about the football team.

Jimmy King is obviously not on a Charles Woodson or Tom Brady level of Blue fame, but he was by far the nicest athlete I've ever met.  He actually said he'd be honored to sign my shoes and really seemed to enjoy talking Nike with me for a few minutes, a nice break from the Webber questions perhaps.  Michigan should be proud he is representing their University.

Adidas Adidas, LOL.
All Day I Deam About Switching The only think I hate more than Adidas is the people on here that defend Adidas & their trash gas station gear. Make the switch in 2 years, Davey Boy.
Ohio St. & MSU are light Ohio St. & MSU are light years ahead of this hot steaming pile of sh** on & off the field/court. Make the switch, Davey Boy! Just Do It.
