Hey, at the very least he got his degree, made friends, and scored touchdowns in the Big House - and very few people on this Earth can say they've accomplished the latter. Hopefully he departed without any hard feelings.

A change of scenery can work wonders for someone, especially a position like RB where so much of your success depends on the people around you. Hope he kicks ass.

UM and TCU. Awesome. Guy handled his disappointment with class. No complaining or casting blame. Here's hoping he takes advantage of this second great opportunity and finds a way to take his game to the NFL. Good Luck Mr. Green.

He'll probably put up some numbers.  Big 12 teams really don't defend the run and that league is full of small, fast guys, so he'll probably terrorize defenders when he gets his carries.

I can honestly say I've seldom been as excited to get a commit as I was when the news broke that the 5 STAR tailback Derrick Green was coming to Michigan.

I can also honestly say I've seldom been as shocked and dissapointed in a players conditioning (or lack thereof) as I was when pictures of Green as a freshman started to surface.

It was the best of times

Good luck Derrick. May you follow in Thomas Rawls footsteps in your career

It was the worst of times, but what are the "best of times" you speak of!? I wish him all the luck, and st the exact time am ecstatic to see him go. Totally crazy I know, but seeing players like him leave and ditching Adidas feel so cathartic and bring a fresh feeling of hope

I never understood why pipkins transferred last year only to redshirt. He couldve redshirted at michigan and got his degree and transferred as a grad transfer and played immediatiatly. Obviusly looking at it from afar.

I don't think we had heard anything about where he might end up for a while, but glad to see that he ended up somewhere where he'll probably get a chance. Like others, I was pretty excited when they first got him on campus and it was admittedly disappointing that it just didn't seem to work out.

I wish him nothing but the best.

He's a big back that likes snacks who can't read the gap or break a tack. He runs the 40 in 5 flat and couldn't find the end-zone if the defense led him to where it's at. Bars

But best of luck, sir!
