Jim Harbaugh On Mike and Mike @ 8:30
Jim Harbaugh is supposed to be live on set with Mike and Mike at 8:30 this morning. Should be interesting to hear the conversation as they have been kind of critical of his recruiting tactics and the Signing of the Stars event.
I know a lot of people around here are not fans of theirs, but figured I would pass along the info.

I like their show for the most part...their discussions are generally fair and reasonable. Once in awhile they're a bit too sanctimonious and self-righteous (Chris Carter especially can be annoying when they have him on) but it's not nearly as bad as other ESPN personalities.
Looking forward to hearing Harbaugh in my morning routine!

Agreed. They will be the same idiots trying to parade him around on their shoulders when he starts winning national championships. My desire and hope is that Harbaugh dismisses them as trolls and avoids their talkshows. It'd be awesome.

Little Mike says Harbaugh only uses traditional quarterbacks. Harbaugh corrects him (Kaepernick/Smith). Little Mike says he forgot about them.

Big Mike mentions how almost every program offers more scholarships than they have. Harbaugh gives standard "scholarships are based on merit" answer. That's the only question about questionable recruiting tactics. Seemed pretty fair. Harbaugh plugs some water-saving charity?

Yeah, for all the shit they talked yesterday about sleepovers, climbing trees, and meritocracy, when they had the chance to put Harbaugh on the spot and ask the tough questions, they sure whimped out. Not really any tough follow-ups to the jovial questions they asked.

Spent too much time talking NFL, by the time they got to recruiting it was impossible to delve into his recruiting stuff. Most interesting thing is how in response to recruiting being different and bigger now than even at Stanford, his response was basically "Well ESPN has been perpetuating and encouraging more and more of this stuff with the games and hat picking ceremonies, so what do you want from me?"
