Following the end of the Fighting Creamsicles-Fighting Moonshiners game (Tennessee-Kentucky for those of you saying "WTF"?)

502 & 503 errors all over the place, folks. Best of luck.

what tha? you want to bring a guy back, waste a scholarship for heart? how 'bout some athletes? how 'bout we worry about getting a coach who is not one dimensional. this game should expose JB.. his ceiling was reached. it is over. no, Xavier Simspon is not going to be the savior when you can't recruit. those chicago high school coaches were right about JB and why he can't athletes to sign up.

Anything that I thought this season was is now dead. This loss is a killer. Out coached, blown off the court and embarrassed. I just never thought I'd see this team look so bad offensively. Not one player besides the 5 slot has moved without the ball.

I spent 5 minutes with Beilein last summer and he was concerned about overall talent level and specifically matching up with really good teams... Dude was pretty honest for random conversation with a stranger at an athletic apparel event.

Hmmm. Takes team to championship game and within a long bomb 3 of another Final Four with unheralded recruits. This after YEARS in the college basketball wilderness. All while recruiting against scum like Pitino, Calipari and Boeheim. Perhaps just a few of the reasons Coach B has a "pope-like infallible aura around him."

With the up's and down's of most of the basketball thread posters when things are good or bad, you'd think this board was full of teenage women.

"Who's got it better than us!"

"OMG THIS TEAM SUCKS, BEILEIN CAN't COACH, HACK"

Athletic 5's. They don't need to do anything but rebound, alter shots and dunk. Enough of the unathletic bigs who are supposedly good shooters.

This x1,000    Our bigs can't shoot anyways, so why not just recruit tall athletic bigs that are only good for rebounding and blocking shots.   Its mind boggling that every MAC team probably has more athletic bigs than we do.   Actually its not mind boggling, its pathetic and enraging.

It's astonishing that HARVARD can have 3 top 100 players and MICHIGAN CAN'T!!! is Beilein that bad at recruiting?!?

I'm thinking that this game is happening to balance the universe after we have a phenomenal day tomorrow... Right guys?

This game is making me physically ill.

Is it just me or does Mark Donnal look physically ill?

Maybe everyone is sick. Nothing else makes sense.

Unless my greatest fear about this team is true...

This isn't an off night. This is M hoops now. A program that is a fringe NCAA team year in year out. Can't be elite with diamond in the rough recruiting.

Sorry, but this is factually false. Being a fringe tournament team (while being without the top player on the team) two years in a row does not classify as "year in year out." Every right to be frustrated with this loss and the other big losses against good teams this season, but that statement is just false.

Rooster12 has a point. This is Beilein's 9th season at Michigan. He has missed the tournament 3 times, he has made it 5 times. Despite tonight's awful performance, I assume he's going to make it this year to make it 6 times.

Of his 6 appearances, only 3 have come when Michigan was solidly in the tournament. The other 3 (including this year) Michigan made/will make it as a bubble team. So under Beilein, Michigan has missed the tournament 1/3 of the time, made it as a bubble team 1/3 of the time, and made it as non-bubble team 1/3 of the time. Michigan is not a year in, year out, fringe tournament team, but they are more of a fringe tournament team than they are a "solidly in" tournament team.
