They are going to need the money to hire their next coach. Brian Kelly is probably as good as gone with this next wave of NFL openings.

So if he ran out of money for food today, how long would it take before he could no longer subside on his own body fat? Before or after Daryl Strawberry is no longer being paid by the Mets?

Good god. I'm kind of in awe of Charlie Weis. It takes a special person to be so bad at your job you're paid so much to not do it. And also terrible management to put oneself into having to pay someone so much money to not do their job.
Consider that in all, Notre Dame paid Charlie weis a total of about 49.5 million dollars. For 35 total wins.

That sorry little school, Irish Catholic with a butchered French name no less, in bum fuck Indiana?
I laugh at them, and will never pass up the chance to do so. I don't often say this, but I hope OSU kicks ass tomorrow ( with all the scoring happening during Citrus Bowl timeouts)

That is just insane. Jack Swarbrick is not the brightest bulb. I wonder how many evil laughs Weis has had since getting fired there. I'm so jealous.

So I guess I'm rooting for a roof collapse in their game, which causes them to cancel the game and no one wins.

1. That may be the most Notre Dame thing to ever do...because every 1-0 start in school history gets talk of return to glory.
And 2. I could not wait for this to completely blow up in Notre Dame's face.
Kind of sad to see this day come.

Reminds me of the Bobby Bonilla contract from the New York Mets. The Mets could have just paid Bonilla the $5.9 million they owed him when they let him go in 2000. Instead, they worked out a payment plan that will net Bonilla $29.8 million from 2011 to 2035.

You know, part of me wondered when this day would come, when Charlie Weis' "Fail Your Way To Fortune" scheme would begin to lose a bit of its funding base, and now that the day is here I must say that I feel....well.....actually, not at all different.
When Kansas finally stops paying him, perhaps there can be a football-wide celebration.
