That's a HUGE win. Next game is equally as huge. Why? Because last year after a great Challenge win......bad things. 

Need to come out breathing fire. I'm willing to bet the coaches will tell them to remember. 

I see a lot of improvement in this team very quickly.  I need to see them against better competition to get a better idea of exactly how much but I am glad to see it.  JB's doing a great job!

Wagner is really good/Chatman not so much.

Swanigan looks like a bigger version of Stanley Johnson. Purdue forces the ball a bit. They don't have a ton of finesse but good luck banging with them.

the 5 position. This could become an area of strength later in the season. I saw 2 or 3 pick and roll attempts tonight. If we can keep getting scoring from the 3 and 4, we can be pretty good.

No question JB is starting to fit the pieces together.  Good for him making the Wagner for Donnal switch. Be patient with Doyle; he'll get better with some confidence, and we're gonna need his size.

I hope everyone appreciates just how great JB is - by far the best hoops coach in modern UM history (have no basis to judge pre-70's).  What a great coach!

That said, BIG looks pretty rough this year at the top - Purdue looks great, and the talent on the floor in the NC/MD game is impressive.

Wagner throws himself around a lot more than your typical euro. I like it.

Trimble will be NPOY, he reminds me so much of Burke. Cold blooded man.

Not bad considering playing without Walton and the fouls and size mismatch.  Thought we cleaned up on defensive boards nicely and controlled the tempo well.

B1G wins again. Purdue fights off a Pitt run and takes them down fairly easily in the stretch 72-59.
