what if:chip kelly gets fired, which school does he go to?

i know its only 2 games but the eagles look really bad.  With Chip Kelly cleaning house this past offseason all the blame will be on him if the eagles remain horrible this season.  My question is if he is let go and he decides to go back to college what school do you think he ends up at?  I could see Texas if they continue to struggle under Charlie Strong.  what do you guys think.

I doubt he's leaving the NFL after this year, but I'll go ahead and play along:

-Texas. But only if the season just absolutely goes to shit for them and there's a string of off field incidents.
-LSU. If their season takes a down spin for whatever reason and Miles "decides to retire" at the end of the season.
-Penn State. While I'd be shocked if Franklin got canned after this season, he's been known to show loyalty to his assistants, and if he's unwilling to fire his OC, he may have to go down with the ship. PSU could probably offer Kelly whatever he wants, and Kelly is a NE guy, so it'd be a good landing spot for him. All I'd worry about with him there is that Penn State will forever be treading on thin ice after the Sandusky scandal, and I'm guessing Kelly had some halfway dirty tactics at Oregon, particularly in recruiting. Penn State can't afford another major scandal.

I can't see either Texas or PSU firing their coach after only two seasons.  Something would have to go really amiss off the field.

LSU would be conceivable in the event of a serious downspin but Les is usually good for at least nine wins, and as long as Fournette is healthy that shouldn't be too tough to pull off.

But I am sure he will go to Wisconsin, I mean, I know there are not enough great coach's in the B1G. The recruiting will become more of a crap shoot than it already is in the midwest. All the great coach's sittin at the dinner table with Mom and Dad and Uncle Joe, telling them how bad their team needs their son. It is true that he could still and will recruit the midwest if he first gets fired, then decides to go back to college football, then he lands at Colorado. It's just harder to get the kids to leave home and the parents will have to travel to watch their son.

Wasn't Chip Kelly specifcially quoted as saying "I don't think our pro offense would work in college"

guy knows the NFL is the only place he can succeed!

it doesn't matter what your duties are our job title is. If you do not perform to the expectations to the team's financial interests they'll fire you. I don't think he'll be fired this year but if he goes 4-12 he could - easily. If fired he'd definitely go back to CFB, IMO. He'd go back to Oregon or the best prestige:money:talent program offered. Texas would see him as the substitute hire for no Saban.

The Eagles offense was going for the world's fastest 3 and outs all day.  Kind of like our 2008 offense with Threatt and Sheridan.  Hurry up looks real bad when you don't get first downs and I'm sure the Philly defense was none to pleased about it.
