I don't which is worse: The camera work or the commentators. BTN broadcasts are generally garbage!

...it's been like this since the BTN started. It's total amateur hour. Always has been, always will be. At the end of the day, it's a marginal sports network based out of an office off the freeway in Chicagoland. If there wasn't so much money guaranteed to all involved, maybe they'd give a shit.

Aren't their offices out near Rosemont? There's a building with the B1G logo on the side right of the freeway.

I had been thinking they were in Oakbrook, but they have their own building in Rosemont nestled in with everything else around O'Hare.
Maybe it's growing up in the area, but I really can't look down on them for their office address. There are a lot of really solid businesses with offices/headquarters in Rosemont, Schaumburg, Rolling Meadows, ect.

ESPN better be pros at broadcasting college football, they are all in on the sport. I love it actually. WatchESPN has your choice of 5 games right now. 4 of which feature top 25 teams.

This is only marginally better than when they try to save money broadcasting hockey games by having the broadcasters do the game via monitors in the studio instead of actually being in the arena.

UHF, to be fair, did have Stanley Spadowski. That would probably make for ,at least, an entertaining commentary..

In my mind, we're going to find out this audio is BTN employing a DJ to record-scratch the broadcast because someone told them it was the new, trendy thing to do.

jesus christ, this static is killing me at the moment.
there's four of us watching in the living room. we have the volume at about 10%.. gameday its usually around 60%. It was killing our ears with it at normal level.. so jarring.

Every time the referee heads toward the Patriots sideline, I get static on my BTN broadcast...

I recommend everyone go to btn.com and send feedback either through the support form on the site or through their contact email. At least make them read emails from a few hundred pissed off Michigan fans.

This has been absolutely atrocious. The producer should be fired, and the color guy sucks balls. Cameraman is incompetent. Oh, and I think I'm sending them a bill for their distorted audio destroying my speakers

Officially listening to the radio now. I wish we would have done this sooner.
BTN, go fuck yourselves.
September 19th, 2015 at 2:51 PM ^
Is Michigan's best play of the day, the power sweep? I wasn't sure... they've only mentioned it about 5 times so far today.. I'm still unsure though. Thoughts?

And now they say "this is Michigan Football under Jim Harbaugh... 3 touchdowns..."
Um, guys, we scored four touchdowns. My god, how awful can you be at your job?
Also, BTN; spend some of those mountains of cash that you have accumulated, and use it to produce a quality broadcast when covering Big Boy Football mmmkay?
September 19th, 2015 at 3:10 PM ^
"That's a great timeout." With five seconds left. Down three scores. Sure thing, champ.
September 19th, 2015 at 3:16 PM ^
given the audio had to be relayed via a fishing vessel stuck in a Typhoon in the South China Sea.

And terrible audio. Even for BTN today was bad. Not to mention the fact I had to hear Chuck Long the entire game.
