Harbaugh sees his QB not performing very well against a below average secondary.

Should he:

1. Take the time outs, put him in a pressure situation and say "I know you haven't done well, now step it up and you have 50 seconds to score." Which potentially makes Jake look even worse.

or

2. He protects his QB. Takes the 21-0 lead into halftime. Takes the 15 minutes to calmn his QB down and figure some shit out. Then let him loose to start the first half with the ball.

I'd go with 2 personally.

I just don't look at it that way, I guess. Your defense has played lights out and you are up 21-0. You give your QB the ball and tell him here is a chance to get some confidence going into the half. Even if he really screws it up it isn't going to hurt much. Not to mention you force them to punt to Peppers again.

Does anybody else hate how the big 10 network zooms there cameras in on the guy with the ball and eliminates everyone else on the field from being in the camera. Maybe it's just me but I kind of like to see more than one player and watch the play develop.
