Fan Jumpman Uniformz Design

I don't usually post fan edits but I must admit these aren't half bad.

So what exactly are we looking at?  Is this a fan's interpretation of what he thinks the uni's will look like or is this a "sneak peak" at someting official from Nike?

I'm a bit confused.

I think those are numbers on the sleeves. And the white one has maize numbers for some reason. That won't last.

I like that at least in these renderings, the Jumpman logo is fairly unobtrusive. It doesn't catch my eye nearly as much as the three stripes, or even the swoosh. Similarly, it's easier to ignore the logo at the base of the collar than if it were on the shoulder.

With all due respect, WD, you're crazy. Michigan is as far as I know the only school that exerted enough pressure on Nike (and later, adidas) to shrink the manufacturer's logo and put it at the base of the collar instead of on the front of the shoulder pad. It's where it should be. This is Michigan, not the University of Nike or U of Jumpman. The logo is a necessary evil, but it should be minimized as much as possible. Compare Henne/Hart era Michigan uniforms to OSU and MSU then and now. The big honking swoosh is a distraction.

Brandon gets derided for his branding obsession, but he had a point. For all of his misguided uniformz, at least our school logos, colors, and trademarks were at the center of them all, and he used our power over adidas, instead of them using us. In fact, now that I think of it, since he's been gone our basketball uniforms have been crap - we wore the stupid adidas template in the BTT last year and just came out with the goofy tire treads on the pants.

Is that supposed to win the debate? Because it doesn't.

TIMMMAAY, don't you know that Michigan only won that National Championship because the swoosh was on the upper-left chest?!  Had it been centered on the jersey the team would have been distracted by the NIKE and wouldn't have been able to focus on WINNING.

I am a big fan of the all whites and I hope they become the default away look. I agree that the stripes on the pants should be wider. I also think they should either take stripes off the jersey and go with an all white top or put the stripes on top of the shoulders ala UCLA or LSU.

I may be mistaken, but I think they said the football unis will not have the JumpMan logo on them (rather the NIKE swoosh) because of the basketball distinction on the logo itself. The team will wear Jordan cleats though with the JumpMan logo.

The basketball team will wear both unis and shoes from the Jordan brand showing the JumpMan logo.
