If I had to guess, I'd say that this was done as a parody of the incredibly over the top Harbaugh love (not that I can totally blame you considering your last decade).
I really don't think it is concern, even if I think Harbaugh will do really well for you guys.

We all did the same as OSU was rumored to land Urban Meyer after their disapointing season, and then they got him. Lots of obsessing on both sides. A lot of the same stuff being said.

who think Harbaugh is overrated. I think it is more of a case of not being concerned about it because we have Meyer and the NC. That tends to trump all else.
Harbaugh will have you guys pretty formidable in about 2 years. ALthough I'd be lying if thoughts of '69 weren't popping up on our side too.

I'll grant you that. Pretty sure it ain't that bad though.

of all these backtracked comments and new excuses. Harbaugh will never leave the NFL, his wife loves SF, he hates recruiting, he's not a good recruiter, he was only 29-21 at Stanford, he'll be back in the NFL in two years...ect.
I did love hearing that Bacon said Da Bears were going to offer 10 million a year and Harbaugh didn't want to hear thier offer.

This could have been so much better if the user had actually made it seem to meld into the actual article rather than tack it onto the end of a paragraph, and after it already establishes certain facts about Harbaugh's past and present. Still, we can dream that such a scenario unfolds, eh? Texas State with Urban's "power spread" looks, if you will, could become quite the program.

Hey, Harbaugh is authentic.
Jenner . . . not so much.

This guy is either a Walmart wolverine posing as a concerned buckeye fan or a buckeye fan with a love for sarcasm.
Most readers of this thread seem to grasp that "Buckeye 69" is not a name an OSU fan would choose. Not sure about the OP. Seems like both the name and the edit are some good preseason humor from an actual fan...

Or graduated in 69. Wait... Who am I kidding? Nobody in Ohio graduates.

Sadly that is pretty close to what Urban has done at OSU. Sigh. He has something like a 93% win rate there.
August 31st, 2015 at 8:58 AM ^
We'll get a chance to do something about that.

It's "The Urban Meyer".

This guy is either a Walmart wolverineAre we using this term now? I thought it was only something Spartan fans said.
August 31st, 2015 at 9:52 AM ^
Its just my opinion, but I for one am not a fan of the term. Guy I work with didn't go to UM for a variety of legit reasons; but the guy bleeds maize and blue.
My Dad was a huge UM fan; loved Bo. But he graduated from UD. (in the 50's. His final exams his senior year weren't written, it was an interview with the prof. Dang!) It didn't make him less of a fan.

But I use that term with some of my friends who are not and I let them know that I consider it a badge of honor to spite those who would denigrate fans who did not go to the school. Part of this may also be directed at some of my fellow alumni who seem to believe that you cannot be a true Wolverine unless you studied in Ann Arbor. To me that's equally bad. So I just flip the script.

Urban's "heart problems" are guaranteed to be proportionately related to Harbaugh's success during the coming years.
