I agreed with this list until I saw Tim Tebow....
Yes he was good in college, but no way the 2nd best QB

Also, AC should be 2nd team. And where's Desmond?

I think he was better than "good." I don't think there is another college QB that had his kind of prolific numbers and the hardware to go with it. Say what you want about his game now, but the guy was a pretty special college player.

Haters gonna hate. Tebow was a great college quarterback. And, yes, quarterbacks do benefit by the cast around them--but they still have to manage the game and get the ball to said cast.
If you want to construct a bunch of stats to try to say the guy wasn't good, well, that's on you.

yeah and guys at baylor, houston, texas a&M, etc run QB friendly, wide open systems with quicker, easier reads and they benefit from sharp coaching, deadly schemes, etc so those type performances / careers should be valued less? its all relative.
say what you want but tebow was a talented, successful college player - and while id never vote tebow even remotely close to any silver teams, i still acknowledge his ability and success (go rewatch some of the accurate throws and some of plays he made in 08 sec title game vs bama and then tell me its all percy harvin).
i never agree with these lists bc its impossible to compare or eval across eras, its just too difficult. plus whats the criteria? but thats totally different argument

The phrase "all-time SEC leader" does not really inspire any adulation from me. I don't disagree that he was a great NCAA QB, but saying you're the best SEC QB is a shallow compliment.

An argument could be made that Denard was a better college qb than tebow. Look at what denard with the pieces he had and look at what tebow did with his pieces. Tebow couldn't hold Vicks jockstrap. Vick single handedly took VA tech to the title game against fsu, and kept them in it in the first half. Cam newton was better than tebow. Arguments coild also be made for mariota, Winston, colt mccoy, Peyton Manning (although Peyton never won a title or beat Florida).

Denard was a better athlete, definitely more exciting, but Tebow won consistently. And good QBs utilize their weapons. For a QB, I think they're going to favor guys who won over a period of time, which is how you end up with Tommy Frazier.
But I don't know man. You mentioned Colt McCoy. I think even Texas fans would have a problem with that argument.

Vince Young was miles better than Tebow.

I guess we remember his college days differently. At the college level, that dude was feared like no other player I've seen. Granted hype and playing at PSU with other great defensive players contributed to his legacy, but to say he wasn't great... I mean

I'm with you. LaVar Arrington was an absolute BEAST.

Hutchinson would have probably been my pick, but there are a number who would contend...

One of my earliest memories of Michigan football is watching Anthony Carter play at a home game. He was electric--in that huge stadium, he lit up the field and you couldn't take your eyes off him. Nor did you want to, because he was generally the center of the action it seemed like. Just phenomenal, and he'll always be one of my favorite players.

I noticed Moss made the list but Peyton did not. Hmm.
