(AARGH!!!  EVERYBODY HAD THE SAME IDEA!!!)

Dantonio on a rectuitn' trip!  (He is offended that Harbaugh bought a truck.  It only goes to show the lack of respect Michigan has for State.)

As part of their contracts with the university, football coaches (and maybe all/some other coaches) get two cars annually from a dealer that contracts with the UM. Given Michigan's status with the auto industry, I'm sure there is a lot of pressure for those to be the higher-end American models and not an Audi/Mercedes type.

Other amenities include complimentary country club membership.

When I bought a Ford a few years ago, i picked the car off the Varsity Ford web site. The dealership told me it would be a few days because it was on loan to a member of the Michigan Football staff.

So I got the car after the family had a chance to clean out their stuff and move into another Ford loaner.

It's possible that Harbaugh's Ford is a similar deal (i.e., loaner).

Look for Harbaugh to be cruising S. State in this new pick em up truck with the windows down, blaring his favorite artist Garth Brooks, with Drevno riding shotgun, and Mattison, Durkin, and Zordich in the back!!

That's your opinion and stuff, but what GMs are you buying?  I'm not saying they're all the best cars on the planet, but my family has owned lots and lots of GMs and they all get sold around 150k miles with a fairly normal range of issues. My brother sold his Maliby at 240k and the thing still ran like a top.
