I  dreamt that an opposing quarterback clutched his chest with his left arm and and fell over dead while about to be hit by a blitz.

This was after watching the every defense down Durkin FL vs FSU clip yesterday I guess.

The announcers were busy arguing over whether or not he got scared to death and breaking it down frame by frame.

Is there any benefit to a short recruiting time for this class? With all the talk I've seen of recruits being swayed by the new and the shiny, does this crash course recruiting help keep Michigan new and shiny, and thus give them in edge in landing some of these guys? Just a thought.

Hype train

Sam Webb mentioned this morning that consensus Top 50 player Demarkus Lodge, WR from Texas, heard that Jim Harbaugh was hired and immediately had interest.  He says he's probably been trying to contact the old staff recruiter for Texas, can't get ahold of them (as they're no longer there).

Long shot of long shots, likely, Ole Miss seems to lead, but he thinks Harbaugh will contact him soon.  Interestingly, Webb says that WR hasn't been an area of focus for the new staff.  It's been CB, LB, and TE so far.  And one RB: Mike Weber.

IF we were to get Iman, wouldn't a move of Peppers to safety be a pretty good idea?  Assuming Iman lives up to the hype, you could have him and JD Lewis as the corners, countess at nickel, Peppers and Wilson at safety.  My main thought in this safety is a weakness and Peppers has the bulk to play safety.

I actually think either have the ability to play safety next year for us. Yeah Jabrill has the bulk to be great in run support but he also has a year of cb technique coaching (albeit of what caliber we don't know) and we know what great athleticism he has. The only knock on Iman is his top line speed and from watching his tape he seems to have benefited from his instincts sitting in zone coverage. If immediate playing time is a big selling point for him, safety here might be an easily attained position

I've heard great things about how well this staff can recruit. In the next few weeks, let's just see how good they can be. If they get Iman Marshall to come to Michigan, it will be the beginning of something special.
