Apparently there's a lot of error in tweeting going on regarding this issue. Specifically a football insider from Kentucky named, Patrick Loney. First he reported Marrow turned the job down, then reported there was a meeting today, now he's saying there is no meeting. I have no idea what to believe. https://twitter.com/patrickloney/status/551137984272416771

An assistant coaching position under Harbaugh would be a huge upward career move for Marrow.  Four years ago, he was a GA.

 As coach:

Since UK was 2-10 in 2013 and 5-7 in 2014, the coaching staff's job security there is pretty shakey.

If Harbaugh offers Marrow an assistant coaching position, he would probably jump at it. Especially considering at the upward mobility of Harbaugh's assistants since USD..

My brain actually spent about 12 seconds trying to figure out who the hell coach Ferrignowill was...both how to pronounce it and why I hadn't heard of him...then I thought of the Hulk and then I sorted it out.

Thanks for giving my brain a well-needed round of exercise after hours and hours and hours of watching football on TV.

Holy shit, if we got Marrow what an amazing coaching staff.

Drevno, Durkin, Mattison, Manning, Marrow, and of course Harbaugh! All these guys are crazy good recruiters.

We know Harbaugh can develop players. The defense for the most part developed normally, so Mattison isn't an issue.  Drevno helped develop guys like David DeCastro at Stanford and saw his entire starting OL in San Fran make the Pro Bowl in 2012.  So he isn't a problem either.

Marrow, from all I have read, is both, a good recruiter, and a good coach.  He would be a welcome addition to the staff for Jake Butt to learn from, and, hopefully, Chris Clark.
