B10 Bowling So Far + Sat. Night Drinking

B10 is 2-1 so far in bowls with PSU pulling out an OT win vs. BC.   Nebraska is tied with USC 10-10 in the Holiday bowl.  The Holiday Bowl might take the cake as having the best reputation for thrilling bowl games too.   That stadium (Qualcomm/Jack Murphy) was one of my favorite places to play - good facilities, field usually well kept, and fun to visit San Diego.  

It's also Saturday night and we are quietly and expectantly celebrating a new coach, the coach we all want.   We are done with barn chores and I am drinking a glass of Blackstone Merlot, inexpensive and built to stay that way.

Blessings to you all on the cusp of 2015.  Here's to hoping we all have one more fantastic gift to open before the New Year.

strangest thing, my posts as quiverfull started to be invisible most of the time.  some could see them, most apparently could not, including me.  so unlike doc daneeka i was able to create a new identity, and fortunately my beloved mgowife didn't/doesn't pretend i don't exist....

Met up with some people to catch up at a bar in Royal Oak earlier, and they had a dry erase board that you could pay money to change what was writen for a cost increasing by a dollar for each entry. Not long after, a Spartan paid $20 to write "Harbaugh Sucks" on it.

Has anyone else had the Frankenmuth Christmas ale? Holy Harbaugh that's good. #25 for Nebraska is either hurt or the worst safety I've seen in a while. Completely shying away from contact.

by oldest daughter.  she puts our milk (perks of living on a farm) with raspberries, chocolate, and some avocado (who knew?) and man are they good.   no alcohol, but it will take the place of dessert.

also, wings win, so add that positive note to his holiday evening.

That PSU game was fantastic. It was exciting and I'm hoping our conference fares well. I am also in the "hoping that OSU beats Alabama and loses to Oregon" boat. Drinking a few beers - Upland Dragonfly IPA (Indiana), Bell's Two Hearted, and Sam Smith organic chocolate stout. All are different and delicious.

Sailor Jerry. Met a really obnoxious Husker at the bar tonight. Their fans have been knowledgable and cordial at the games/tailgates in AA, but this guy was a dick.

B1G was an underdog in every bowl game and is now 2-1 with Nebraska giving USC a real scare. Beating UNC in Detroit or BC in NYC isn't the pinnacle, but I think it does mean the conference was slightly underrated.
