This is bad news not good news.  Remember no news is/was good news.  Now that the national media has given this legs it becomes a bigger uphill battle to get Harbaugh.  I feel deja vu....

I have been silent on this topic until today and for very good reason.  I really dont understand how people can be so optimistic about Harbaugh coming to Michigan without validity.  Although maybe that's just my weakness.  Tonight i will drink to the thought of this becoming reality.  Cheers my friends!!!

As much as I dislike the toolbag that is Tim Kawakami I think I'll take his opinion that Harbaugh would rather be in the NFL than at Michigan.  Really, just setting my expectations low so I'm not devastated if he turns Michigan down but obviously elated if he comes here.

Question: Why wasn't JH a candidate when Loyld retired? Was it strictly because he had only coached at FCS level at the time? Did he seeks the job then?

Eh, he assumes Harbaugh leaked the offer.  Could've come from somewhere in the AD, right?

Even so, Harbaugh wants $$$, and even if he doesn't come to Michigan I can't fault him for using Michigans amazingly generous offer as leverage against NFL teams.  Hopefully he doesn't fuck us over by stringing us out though.

either to debunk this or to support it or dance around it. Then Harbaugh will probably get asked about it in if postgame presser if not sooner. Makes me nervous how all that could go. We've crossed the rubicon. At least Harbaugh doesn't consider the 49ers a damn fine football team any more.

I think this is exactly where we thought we would be. Now that the season is over harbaugh can and is considering offers. So he has not said no. The question now and important piece is how long until a decision. Up until the day after the season I can see as playing w sf . One day more than that and it is us who has been used. Just my opinion.

I have a hard time remembering when Specific details of an offer were reported on and the person didn't take the offer. Is it just me? I think I am plugged into sports enough that I would remember a situation like this happening and they say no. Am I wrong?
