I have info from someone who is so INSIDE that he is almost outside.  Every year they have a little Christmas party at the AD & they have a Santa come in & give out gifts to deserving children & some gifts to members of the department.

The story is, this year they will have Brandstetter as Santa passing out the gifts and when he is done, he will say: I understand I might have something for you too, Mr Hackett -----  & then the lights will flash on & off & from out of nowhere - here is ANOTHER Santa - this one is accompanied by a Mrs Santa & they are dressed in Maize & Blue Santa suits -- they dance into the room & run up to Hackett -- Santa says --Once a Wolverine, always a Wolverine!  I am back!! -- He takes off his beard & its Harbaugh!!!!  The pep band begins to play the victors & maize & blue confetti fall like snow on everyone- the place goes wild --=Harbaugh's wife hugs Jim & tells everyone she Loves being at Michigan!  The signing news confernce is just a formality -- tweets go out to 100 recruits or more--the whole thing will be the event of the century.

This is all secret right now, so it would be best not to share this info with anyone outside of this group, as it might ruin the surprise.

 

p.s. I might have dreamt this last night, not sure, but I am going with it

that is all.   I guess at this point, that is all it is.  Difference is now that everyone is admitting he is thinking about it.  Apparently it took a big $$$ deal announcement to get the Mothership talking about it.

All of this is old news on mgoblog, we all know something changed late Monday night. So I am loving the 180 on espn, lovin the backstroke they are doing.

Do the leaks mean it is closer than we know? For some reason that is the question I am asking?

I won't look at this any other way. Jimmy is coming home!!

Schefter--Michigan grad.  Guy who is connected to the ex-player, donor, alumni community. 

"Considering."  That was the only word he was apparently allowed to use.  He must have said it 7 times, and was extremely deliberate about it.  That means someone wants to let the NFL-reporting community do an about face without fully spilling the beans.

Trend.  He noted several times that no one (outside of the U-M groups) thought two weeks ago we had a chance.  Now he's saying we do.

Amount.  $8M/year.  We're serious.  That not only puts NFL competitors for JH on notice, but also puts coaching options 2-4 on notice that we're serious. I think at least one of them is still very much in play.

Publicity.  I don't think JH wants to drop a bomb on this.  I think he wants the public to think of it as well thought out and considered.  If not, it could make for a bad transition to A2 if everyone thinks of him as a mercenary whore.  I guess the jury is out whether he waits to let NFL competitors respond, so he can altruistically head back home, or shut it all down now to avoid a whole unseemly bidding war.  If I were him go for the latter and engineer an announcement before NFL suitors get a chance to respond publically, which will be by the end of the month.

that announced the names of the flight crew on that Kroean air liner that crashed in San Fran.  If so, this is all bunk.  "We Too Low", "Bing Dang Ow", "Ho Lee Fuk" etc.

Hopefully they didn't get the numbers from some intern.
