Perhaps some of them do have reliable inside information, but it's hard to tell. This is because there's no consequence for error. They can make all the HOT TAKES they want; no one will lose their job because they got something wrong.

The group think on this board is becoming awful. Just because someone has a view/opinion/report that does not align with your personal desires does not give justification to completely write someone off as a has been. Big whoop. He reported/tweeted something you didn't like. Carry on and embrace it.

Forgot, no room for logic if it doesn't mean Harbaugh is coming to UofM.

Yeah I am sure this guy has sources close to Harbaugh.LMAO Sorry but Jimmy's "Circle of Trust" all wants him at Michigan so this report is just bogus. If Jimmy doesn't come it's cause of him but I guarantee nobody that is truly close ot him is saying he's told Michigan no.

So if our new head coach is currently in the NFL do you think we won't know until the end of the season or do you think we could hear earlier if their current team gets eliminated from the playoffs a week or two before the season is over?

Seems realistic to me Harbaugh isn't coming. I agree with the posters that many on here discredit anyone who says JH isn't coming and reading into situations that is grey at best and saying it means he is coming. I would like for the school to go after Stoops with authority. He is the stallion that I want. If the unicorn(JH) runs by the stable and Michigan has an opportunity to coral him during the same time period, it would work out even better.

Once again, it's being said by some experts that the search at UM is out of control because Hackett has his mind set on Harbaugh but HARBAUGH IS NOT COMING.  Hackett has no backup plan and UM will be lucky to end up with Greg Schiano.

If Jim were so adamant about staying in the Bay Area for his family's sake, that he would take over a team that is a wreck, and which may move to parts unknown sooner rather than later, he would have just told us "no" straight out.

but odds are he will not come to Michigan this time and will try one more coaching stint with the Raiders.

I kind of wish Harbaugh would just  come out and say no, he is not interested in the Michigan job. Unless this is a big smoke screen to throw everyone off the fact Jim will take the MIchigan coaching job. But the sooner we know the better. Just hire the 2nd best coach and let them get their staff together and hit the recruiting trail. I hate wasting time when we don't really need too!

Seems to me like a lot of pro Harbaugh to UM news came out yesterday and people are putting out opposite info to cover those tracks. I could be wrong but it's just what it seems like to me. Too much got leaked so we'll try to clog the hole a little.
