OU Baylor seems to be the best game going on now.

Iowa up 7

Purdue up 3 on Wisc.

How this Minny team lost to Illinois two weeks ago gets even more unbelievable as they trounce Iowa more and more.  I know everybody has a bad game, but they really shot themselves in the foot with that loss.

Minnesota settles for a long field goal when they had a chance to throw deep a couple times and put the dagger in. And then they obviously miss the kick. Big Effing Ten.

That team gave up 31 points in one quarter. But do you really want to argue that a team that most recently lost to Illinois can't possibly blow a big lead to a team that just scored 45 points in their last game? No, I do not believe that 35-7 at half is a dagger. It's bad, and I seriously doubt Iowa comes back, but I still think it was a big mistake not to take at least one deep shot there. They went Lloyd Carr and we all know that sometimes that comes back to haunt you in the end.

Yes, because I think both of those outcomes were flukes. Minnesota is a solid team that had an off game against Illinois and has regained its focus. Iowa is a solid team also, but they're clearly not ready for this game, and they're not the type of team to go into hurry-up mode for an entire half and be successful. Even if they can, Minnesota's probably going to hog the ball for a ton of time.

Yeah, I think you make a lot of good points. I don't argue that Iowa has almost no chance. All I'm saying is that Iowa still has a little bit of a chance to come back. All it takes is a mistake or two from Minnesota, which is possible. And I think that if Minnesota had turned that last turnover into a TD then Iowa's chance would be zero.

Iowa has 113 yards of offense on 31 plays and Minnesota has 253 on 36 plays (27 of which are runs in their case). Iowa's rushing game is an eerie tribute to our own last year - 34 yards on 18 attempts. The three turnovers (2 fumbles and an INT) certainly don't help.

Meanwhile, Penn State has 221 yards and 7 points over 32 plays. So much B1G going on right now.

At my alma mater watching them play St Marys. Josh Ross (James' little brother) is a man amongst boys. He's quite the talent at linebacker, and only a sophomore. Let's hope we can land him.

Penn State has 294 yards through 3 quarters, 92 of them on the Belton run.  Excluding that run they're averaging 2.6 yards per rush (not stripping out sacks).

Oklahoma getting their ass handed to them. 38-14 and Baylor is moving the ball at will.

In Oklahoma!

Gone are the days of OU and Texas being the inevitable Big 12 Champions.

I can't believe they lost to IL? They should make it interesting for the B1G west. MN average recruiting class is about 68th. Hoke's average recruiting class is around 18th. The only reason MN is so much better than Michigan is coaching! On paper the ony other team with more talent than Michigan is OSU!
