Why burn a year for this staff. Better to save it for the next coach & B1G Championship.

If everything goes to plan(for him) he's gone after three years anyways.
I hope it does. Because it will mean he lives up to the hype and plays outstanding in 2015 and 2016

Asking Brady to explain would be the ultimate in futility. You may as well as a dead squirrel the same question. You'd get about the same amount of actual info. The press should protest Brady's pressers and either not even bother to show up. Or show up and and not ask ANY questions. But then still write up an article about the presser.

I don't get why Hoke doesn't just give us an explanation. What does he gain from this? It just pisses off the fan base especially with Peppers walking around with no sign of injury (Obviously, they wouldn't keep him out if there wasn't some issue)

He probably wants to transfer with 4 years of eligibility.
Don't get too concerned about talent before we have a decent coach.

correct me if Im wrong on this-- but this seems to be where the Mch-D was heading, at least in the ApS game.
Countess at CB looks to be a Real Problem, and Mch-D coaching might have been right to look to Countess as DB-5, in the Nickel-Dime packages.
What a shame-- have to wait for next year . . . and a Freakin FIVE-star too . . .

and its not some disciplinary thing
MGoBloggers need to decide which way theyre going to be outraged on injuries. Are we outraged because:
- Players are played when they're sort of injured and should be kept benched (Funchess)
- Or players should be played even though they're sort of injured (Peppers)

I agree that there is a huge disconnect about all the injuries. Play/dont play.
Three injury related points:
- Take out starters when the game is decided
- Have capable backups (make sure that they know where their helmets are)
- Coaching should discuss injuries to some degree - I dont think anybody is asking for full disclosure and details, but how does it hurt the team or any of the players if the coach says:"He has a lower body injury. It's more nagging than serious. Trainers said it'll be week to week to see when he is at full speed. We'll test him this week in practice. If he's safe to play, and gives us the best chance to win, he'll play." I have listened to LOTS of coaching press conferences. That response is meaningless, but far less antagonistic than Brady's usual BS.

Yeah, but are any of the rumors substantiated when it comes to peppers being game-ready and being upset that he is not being allowed to play?

Also, when the hell did this staff start caring about putting injured players on the field?

While unsubstantiated rumors might persist about Jabrill Peppers' playing status at Michigan, and other rumors about his possibly contemplating a transfer from Michigan might be grossly exaggerated, he was involved in a bit of controversy last week before the big rivalry game between his two former high school teams, northern New Jersey football powerhouses Don Bosco Prep (his origial school) and Paramus Catholic (the school to which he transferred during his sophomore year.)
Apologies to the Board if this subject has been covered, but Jabrill Peppers had to come to the defense of Paramus Catholic and its football staff last week against accusations by his former coach at Don Bosco Prep that Paramus Catholic somehow engaged in unfair practices by encouraging him to transfer for his final two football seasons.
LINK to the story that includes a separate link to the lengthy text message that Peppers sent to the reporter for the local New Jersey newspaper that was covering the story.
Peppers and his Michigan teammate and classmate at both Paramus Catholic and Michigan, Juwann Bushell-Beatty, got to celebrate twice on Saturday; before Michigan beat Penn State, Paramus Catholic upset Don Bosco Prep (previously ranked as the top high school football team team in the nation by MaxPreps.com.)
