End of game check-in
Even though I'm just one person and can't do much, I was shouting as loud as possible when Utah had the ball. I'm not happy with the results so far this year, but I'll be damned if I'm ever going to stop supporting them like they are a NC contender.

Eh...don't know about that, it was the typical 30 seconds left let's shake hands and go straight to the locker room, dont think coaches would've stopped them if they headed to the north endzone area...I'm not bitter about it in any way, just think it would've been something nice

Fair point, I just don't see how the coaches would've let 70+ players know that they should head to the locker room especially with 11 already on the field....more likely is that it's standard post loss procedure

Are you seriously and truly disappointed players who just had their souls crushed, and then had to spend two and a half hours sitting in the lockerroom just for the honor of coming out again and having their souls crushed again in front of 50 people, 49 of which were opposing team fans, didn't personally thank you for staying?
How impolite! Have none of them read Emily Post?

Yeah...what Gucci Mane said...basically a missed opportunity more than anything. That's the thing I always liked about hockey at Yost, players would always acknowledge the fans (moreso after wins obviously) with a simple raised fist, thumbs up, or applause - did it make any difference, not really, but was kind of nice to see that they appreciated us being there cheering them on.

It was the same way after halftime against Northwestern in '08. I'm sure they could hear me.

just for the opportunity to watch a real life Michigan game in front of 2,000ish people. A surreal experience for sure

Stood with a giant pack of Utah fans in section 1 at the end. The ones I talked to while waiting in Crisler loved the arena as well.

Gucci, this is how I felt for NW '08 when I earned a fandom endurance badge by staying to the bitter end to show my support when I thought it couldn't get any worse. Six years later, I just can't do it anymore, I just can't believe in 2014 we're still revisiting '08 Michigan football and not '06. Holy shit.

I feel you. This was the second game that I've ever left early (decided to leave right before they suspended the game) - the only other one was Oregon back in '07.

I went to the volleyball game. When that game ended the football was still happening. Thought about going back but was told it was over.
Props to those who when back. You know if they came back and won, every person would say they never left.

I wasn't there. I didn't support the team. I felt it was important I say that in this thread however.

I followed the end of the game on my phone during dinner. I was with other people (wife and kids included) and going back was not an option for them. It was amazing how fast the game went without TV. It remineded me of the good old days of no TV.

Since I'm a bit of a college football fiend I have goalline so I was able to watch the last few minutes on TV (didn't go to the game).
I have never seen the stadium like that. It was almost creepy how empty is way. I would imagine there were more people at the free practice than the end of that game.

@umichfootball: Those with tickets can re-enter Michigan Stadium.

UM Athletic Dept. social media team working overtime. Suprised not to see a snarky "/s" in that tweet.

Made me chuckle.
You'd think at that point they would just let anybody that wanted to come back in. The disconnect the higher ups have with fans at this program is absolutely sickening.
