For one week, let's just ignore all things Sparty, save for genuine "news" about injuries, suspensions, etc.
It's just one week. We can do it.

Plus a billion points. I'm really sick of the MSU crap on this blog, save for the things you just mentioned.

And we'll all feel better for it. Raise a glass and toast to better health!

Can anyone fill me in on the backstory of this photo? I've seen it posted for years bet never knew its origin. I always assumed this was written on a car with a M logo somewhere on it, perhaps during an MSU game in Ann Arbor.

It was alledgedly photographed on campus after an MSU game in Ann Arbor. Of course I don't remember how long ago that was because Jim Delaney set us up in East Lansing for perpetuity.

Thank you for the heads up, I won't bring my couch then.

Tailgates would look a lot like this....

I assume tractors, combines and post-hole diggers must also use the RV lot.
August 28th, 2014 at 1:31 PM ^
Actually, back hoes, bull dozers, front end loaders, skid steers, harvesters and plows must all use the RV lot. Anything that says John Deere must use the RV lot as well.

What about hydroseed trucks? I bet Spartans love those trucks because they allow you to splatter green stuff all over the place.
August 28th, 2014 at 7:46 PM ^
True. Lot of landscapers matriculating from that joint.

Honest Question: Who brings couches/upholstered furniture to tailgates? Folding chairs were invented for a reason.

A couch a porch I understand. A couch on a golf course is madness.

I have a fantasy of driving a large truck full of couches, several containers of lighter fluid and some boxes of matches and dropping them at strategic locations around campus during a big game, just to enjoy the game's afterglow.

No grazing.
August 28th, 2014 at 3:16 PM ^
Man, I hope we get a post about Northwestern's tailgating which requires all patrons to leave their belts, shoelaces, and any sharp objects at the gate before entering.
Seriously, and I really do try not to crap on posts like this, but who gives a Flying Unicorn Carrying Kerosene about MSU's tailgating rules?
August 28th, 2014 at 3:19 PM ^
Only been to a couple football games in East Lansing, but it sure seems like they allow open alcohol on the sidewalks on the way to the game. Strange that wasn't addressed.

must be shaved..Couches must be sprayed for lice and cockroaches prior to bringing them on campus. Not necessary for couches already present. Grazing by Spartan faithful will be allowed on field at the games conclusion so bring your wives.

Has anyone made the trip, or planning on making the trip to East Lansing in an RV? I notice you can't stay in the lot overnight so i am trying to figure out where other people park there RVs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
