Michigan undergrad
Dayton law school
I'm hoping to take the opposite route. Dayton undergrad, hopeful Michigan MBA.
I have degrees from Michigan and Louisville. Needless to say, my Facebook page was at war last spring--and tensions are rising again lately.
Go Flyers!
The fact that a 10-seed is playing an 11-seed in the Sweet Sixteen is pretty rare and significant, but if anyone is interested in a little trivia, an 11-seed has made it as far as the Final Four only three times since the expansion of the Tournament - George Mason in 2006, LSU in 1986 and VCU in 2011.
An 10-seed, however, has made it to the Regional Finals 9 times, most recently Davidson in 2008 and Kent State in 2002. Dayton, of course, accomplished this feat in 1984.
I don't really care what happens tonight so long as Baylor beats the University of Bo Ryan Flippin Bo Ryans.
while I cuddle up with a cute Neuroscience textbook and lots of basketball.
I keep clicking, but it won't let me look inside... I must be doing somthing wrong.

Men's? Really...
What gives? That other thread on March Madness that was just taken down seemed totally placid.
Dayton/Stanford had quite a bit of offense in the first few minutes, and it was thoroughly entertaining. Then, missed shots/fouls for everyone... hopefully this game picks up
Good call.
OT and not thread worthy news but UMass is dropping out of their football-only membership with the MAC.
Unknown where they will go. Should be back to DI-FCS.
Damn football unions!
There is no one watching the Baylor Wisco game. Graveyard. Maybe normal for sweet 16?
Can't decide if I should root against Wiscy or not. I hat their style and Bo Ryan, but mildly want to support the Bee won gee
Baylor needs to go man. They are getting blasted in the ass
I've seen every Baylor game this year (I've got family on the bench there) and believe me, they don't want to play man and you don't want to see it if they do. They turned their season around when they realized it wasn't an option.
Just like Syracuse.
C'MON MAAAAN....
Then I hope we beat the dog shit out of both. BLOWOUTS.
I can't believe Creighton couldn't get open shots against this Baylor team. Wisconsin is passing up open shots because they know they can get even better ones.
Not that I think Creighton should be some dominant power, but this is ridiculous.
I absolutely loathe Wisconsin sports.
is not only a Coach K protege, he looks and acts like him, too.
I dont think they look alike.
Frank Kaminsky's offer sheet:
- Bradley
- DePaul
- Northern Illinois
- Northwestern
- Southern Illinois
- Wisconsin
Traevon Jackson's offer sheet:
- Akron
- Arizona State
- Cleveland State
- Miami (O)
- Ohio U.
- Wisconsin
Sam Dekker's offer sheet:
- Bradley
- Milwaukee
- Northern Illinois
- Northern Iowa
- Valparaiso
- Wisconsin
And on and on. What other coach is able to do this? I can think of one.
Sam Dekker was a 5 star, ranked by rivals as the 13th player in the nation. His offers are because he committed so early.

Ryan identified him and closed the deal before he blew up. Beilein does that too.
The other guys that are considered great coaches don't have to do any of this. Calipari, Krzyszewski, Williams, Pitino, Self--they've got five-stars falling into their lap and it doesn't matter if they're early or late to the party.
These two guys find ways to churn out championship-caliber teams without ever diving into the cesspool. Either they're plucking guys from mid-majors, or they're getting firm verbals a year before anyone else has realized the guy's any good, and then they use them to beat the teams that didn't recruit them at all or came in too late.
And not just because Michigan plays...
Because I'll take ALL FOUR games over any 1 game tonight.
Gonna be a fun night tomorrow...today, meh, thankful it's basketball, but that's about it.
Welp, so much for this Wisconsin/Baylor being the prettiest/best game of the NCAAT.
I was coming into it expecting a final score around 80-75 Wisconsin. This is the exact opposite of what I thought, besides the fact that Wisky is still winning.
Wisconsin will score 80. EVER.
They're probably more likely to score 80 in football to be honest.
I guess I was blinded by the 2nd half of the Oregon game. And I figured Baylor would destroy Wisky's defense.
And this is why I don't bet on sports.
