Oh man is eleven warriors in coping mode.
January 9th, 2024 at 2:43 AM ^
Yeah, no kidding. The only tune they know now seems to be "Vaaaacaaaate!!!!"
It's sad, to tell the truth.

They are worse losers than they are winners by far.
Whiny self important delusional little stupid fuckers.
Logic is not their thing

Undefeated
Undisputed
B1G Champion
Lineal Belt Holder
CFP Champion
The 100% most undeniable National Champion in the 154 years of college football.

Lineal championships are the weirdest championships

Just wait for NCAA and ESPN fucks to tell us how it wasn’t fair that they (UM) won becuase they had an advantage for fucking the wives of each team to get their signs.

Weird.

Oh...sometimes you type something and a little voice in your head says "that might be going a little too far" and you don't hit save. This should have been one of those times.

Our last national championship was my junior year in high school. It sealed my interest in leaving Indiana to go to Michigan. My oldest son is a junior in high school. We live in Indiana. He wants to go to Michigan - now more than ever. Go blue.
January 9th, 2024 at 2:05 AM ^
My oldest is 9. Wants to go to Michigan. I fear the tuition bills. Live in Minnesota.
January 9th, 2024 at 2:11 AM ^
Let him dream away — nothing he thinks about college or future plans along those lines will matter until he’s at least 16. When the time comes, you can have that conversation.

Don't let your kid down! Plenty of time to move to MI and save some $$$
January 9th, 2024 at 3:00 AM ^
Right on!
January 9th, 2024 at 9:08 AM ^
plenty of time to move

"Who does number 2 work for!"
What a season
January 9th, 2024 at 2:03 AM ^
I believe that we now are tied with OSU for the best all time winning percentage in college football.
January 9th, 2024 at 2:11 AM ^
But we crush them in head to head - which convincingly breaks the tie.
Go blue.

in the flurry of post-game threads, sadly, this comment will not get nearly the appreciation it deserves.

Are you saying that our family trees have branches while theirs are all trunk?

More crazy coincidences.
My whole life I always said “I’ll never move to Ohio.”
Born and raised in AA, lived all over SW Michigan, lived in Canada, Tennessee, Indiana, coastal cities on both oceans.
I took a job in Ohio a few years back, uprooting after 12 years in Kalamazoo, MI. Since I took that job:
3-0 against An Ohio state
3-0 B1G champs
Reigning, defending, undisputed National Champs.
my sacrifice was worth it. you’re welcome
January 9th, 2024 at 2:12 AM ^
Thank you - never leave. It’s worth it on Thanksgiving weekend.
January 9th, 2024 at 2:12 AM ^
Thank you for your sacrifice.

Since I live near High Street, I ran out afterwards to sing The Victors and Mr Brightside at the top of my lungs. It was about 20 degrees outside, but I felt as warm as if I'd been baking in a sauna all day.
January 9th, 2024 at 2:08 AM ^
Tangential, but someone elsewhere brought this up.
First CFP final in this format - OSU over Oregon by 22 in Dallas
Final CFP final in this format - UM over Washington by 21 in Houston
January 9th, 2024 at 2:24 AM ^
OSU winning the title seems like decades ago now. Even 2020 seems like decades ago now.
Crazy what 39-3 does to your perspective.
January 9th, 2024 at 2:41 AM ^
*40-3. Pull it down!
January 9th, 2024 at 3:05 AM ^
40-3.
January 9th, 2024 at 3:12 AM ^
No coincidence here.
1997 was the season after my grandpa passed away and yesterday would have been his 100th birthday. The last conversation we had on 11/28/1996 started with him saying "Michigan won one for ya" in regard to the 13-9 game that year. The only time in my 13 years that I had ever known grandpa to care about a football game. Rest in peace Old #5 (He was a baseball pitcher and point guard)
January 9th, 2024 at 3:27 AM ^
My crazy coincidence … Michigan has won two National Championships in my lifetime and I was out of the country for both of them.
(and I typically do not travel in early Jan)
January 9th, 2024 at 7:20 AM ^
Do you mean 2 players wearing #2?
January 9th, 2024 at 7:47 AM ^
beat me to it...
January 9th, 2024 at 7:47 AM ^
"Lead by a player wearing number 2"
I'll take it a step further:
Both players of the game wear #2.
January 9th, 2024 at 7:59 AM ^
My personal coincidence-IM 38 now, so I was 12 last time we won it all. My boys are 12 and 13 right now. I also wore the Woodson jersey I purchased from Mden in 1997 last night! Still in great shape and fits (i bought it big).

If Indiana, DeBoer, and Pennix don't beat Michigan in 2020, Harbaugh may not have hired new assistants, particularly McDonald as DC and promoting Moore to OL coach. They had a part in creating what would become Team 144.
Last night doesn't happen without the "dark place" pain of 2020....
January 9th, 2024 at 10:29 AM ^
We must bow down to our AI overlords and thank them for another rotation in the simulation. 😎
January 9th, 2024 at 1:27 PM ^
Not a similarity with 1997, but
Harbaugh GUARANTEED a victory against OSU.
JJ PROMISED the team would be back in the CFP.
Both delivered.
