I'm on that, though I'm currently checking out Arizona - Purdue on the P-Cock.
And right back atcha! To each and all, have a Merry Bowl Season!

You're very welcome Uncle Hoek.

Ahh, bowl season. I do love it, despite it essentially amounting to watching average teams, with depleted rosters, playing odd matchups, nearly a month after the season ended, in front of an empty stadium. Cal v TexasTech could be a blowout in either direction, and neither result would surprise me.

Cal was a couple dumb plays away from beating Auburn and USC and finishing the year 8-4.
Auburn loss sucked as they significantly outplayed them.

I'm surprised my Bobcats didn't have a drop off after Solich retired. I'm really happy for the team and OU. Good to be known for something other than partying! Oh, and can't forget our proudest moment 😁

Same! Hunt looked fantastic today. Maybe the offense next year won't be too bad 🤷🤷. I wasn't sure about Albin at first, but he was the right choice

Turn the game on and it feels like 2008 - 2010 all over again.

Wow, App State and Miami (NTM) are now throwing punches between plays.
December 16th, 2023 at 6:25 PM ^
How does NmSU have 14 games this year?

@ Hawaii (does not count)
C-USA title game

Why didn’t the @ Hawaii game count?
December 16th, 2023 at 7:50 PM ^
It counts. I think what FieldingBLUE was trying to say is that when teams play at Hawaii, they are allowed to play an additional regular season game (typically at home to generate revenue) because of the extra expense of traveling to and from Honolulu.
Not all teams choose to do so, but they are afforded the option.

Damn, I never knew that. All these years. Does that count for conference opponents too. So does the half of the WAC play an extra game every year?
December 16th, 2023 at 8:43 PM ^
Yes, if a Mountain West wants to play an additional game, they're allowed, though it doesn't look like any teams have done so in recent years. I think it was much more prevalent in their WAC days.
Recall in 1998, Michigan traveled to Hawaii for a 12th game (regular seasons were only 11 games back then) after they played OSU.

I didn’t know that either
