Blake Frazier Has Committed To Michigan
I mean, yeah, Mr. Frazier. Yeah:
I guess we all knew this was coming… Go Blue 〽️ @Coach_SMoore @AKarsch_UM @UMichFootball @VHSFootball @RecruitVandyFB @Rivals @samspiegs @EJHollandOn3 @SWiltfong247 @Hayesfawcett3 pic.twitter.com/OmnCgKLUFY

Blake is of course the son of Steve Frazier, who was a Michigan OL in the late 90s. That plus back-to-back Joe Moore awards made this particular recruitment seem like a foregone conclusion; lo, it has come to pass. Frazier is #206 on the composite and was also being heavily recruited by Texas, Clemson, and USC.
Frazier joins Luke Hamilton, Ben Roebuck, and Andrew Sprague as OL in the class. With the likely commitment of C Jake Guarnera in the near future—Wiltfong and Webb have both ball'd him to Michigan and he's announcing on the 28th—that would give Michigan a full offensive line in the class. There has been talk that Michigan could add a sixth guy if the right dude wants in but nothing else is imminent.
There is no content after the jump.
Future Sheronne Moore award winner at O-line U.
Love it!
Sure hope Max Anderson is still a take.
Down goes Frazier… to the good guys.
Go Blue
Underrated. Got to be a certain age to get it.
Too true 👍🏻
Love or hate Howard Cosell, he had a way of elevating great moments in sport with his commentary. "Down goes Frazier!" is a classic. Imagine the difference had he said "And Frazier is down. "
And most people don't remember that Cosell said it 3 times in succession for effect. I still remember watching that fight live on tv, and Cosell's timing was impeccable.
Down comes Frazier!
Very well written and classy commitment from the young man, definitely has a lot of character and heart.
Absolutely! I love how he first addresses his family members one by one, even his kid sister, and appreciates them all for what they have brought to his life. This exemplifies the sort of person who is a team-first player and leader by example. I would not be surprised if he ends up being a Captain his junior and senior years.
....and 5th year. 😎
Welcome, Mr. Frazier! Go Blue!
I like the composition of the O-line class and the class overall. At this position group you have (it appears) two talented high-upside guys and two solid Ohioans who will hopefully bring extra effort when we play "Ohio." (Hammond seems to be in the same tier.)
lo, it has come to pass
Just wanted to say I'm a big fan of working "lo" into the mix, even if twas used mostly ere these long years.
Also happy about the Frazier, son-of-Frazier, commitment. Lo, we can't have overmany trench mavens.
+1. Pedantic.
I dunno. It looks weird to specifically tell off a Jovian moon.
By Jove, an upper case I does look a lot like a lower case l in this font!
Welcome to OL U Blake!
Wise choice!
Go Blue!
Welcome, son of Steve!! Want more Fraziers!
I think there’s next to zero percent chance they take just five OL. They’ll finally experience some attrition this year, and there’s 2-3 more blue chip prospects with heavy interest.
I think they take 7
I knew his dad when at Michigan and doesnt sound like the apple fell too far from the tree. Great get. Go blue!
This might mean Guarnera is out because I read Frazier is coming as a center.
I'm not sure where this is coming from, but I haven't seen anyone say he's coming in as a center. In fact, several predictions have come in for Jake Guarnera to pick Michigan, and Guarnera is a center. It would be odd for Michigan to take two centers in a class when they already have Drake Nugent, Greg Crippen, and Raheem Anderson on the team, not to mention other guys who have repped at the position, such as Reece Atteberry.
I don't think Frazier is a center. Maybe a guard, but not a center. You don't see many 6'6", skinny centers.

My bad. It's definitely isn't him if he's 6-6. Maybe was Anderson and got confused.
Fantastic! Go Blue!
Why does the image show an Adidas jersey?
Seems like a comparison to two other excellent 77s - Jake Long (on the right) and Lewan on the left (Adidas era).
Because Taylor Lewan wore adidas jerseys
BIG Get.
It's easy to think former UM players kids will play for Michigan - not always the case.
Our OL recruiting is unbelievable awesome.
GO BLUE!
hArby's...
... we have the meats!
Good heavens, our offensive line is going to be just so damn good. I mean, daymn!
Huzzah! Great to see the continued momentum in recruiting. Go Blue!
That is an extremely well written commitment statement. Glad to have Blake on board.
I'm ok with 5 OL recruits per year as long as we also have a strategy that we're going to be aggressive in going after 1-2 starter grade OL transfer targets each year as well.
Well, the last two years declare that Michigan is a destination site for portal OLs.
Clearly, and I do mean very clearly, Coach Harbaugh and his staff understand that the OL is the single most important position group for having a successful team. This is where you control the game-the LOS and TOP. Great QBs and RBs without the requisite OL are neutered.
The train keeps rolling.
