in high gear

If USC wins tonight with a big night by Williams, the Heisman is his. His only competition is Young.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:09 PM ^
LSU struggling with Texas A&M. lol
November 26th, 2022 at 8:09 PM ^
USC is making Notre Dame look awful early.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:10 PM ^
A&M winning would be great
November 26th, 2022 at 8:11 PM ^
Why ?
November 26th, 2022 at 8:13 PM ^
Makes SEC look bad?
November 26th, 2022 at 8:14 PM ^
And gets the nuts in the playoffs if SC loses again …. No thanks
November 26th, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
No, LSU was losing next week anyway to Georgia… If USC and TCU win out OSU won’t make it… doesn’t matter what happens in the SEC now…. Georgia even with a loss is in, a Michigan Win they are in, A TCU win next week they are in, a USC win this week and next they are in.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:46 PM ^
Because Mr Famaleyy purple face Brian Kelly losing is always good with me
November 26th, 2022 at 8:10 PM ^
Fuck notre shame now and forever
November 26th, 2022 at 8:11 PM ^
I'm still on a happy high regardless of what happens but I'm not exactly crazy about USC being good again. Same with Tennessee. I enjoyed watching those teams be in the gutter.
This is traditionally the only time I ever root for the Trojans. Notre Dame can fuck themselves until the end of time.
Basically, I prefer USC not being good but still good enough to beat Notre Dame.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:14 PM ^
Agree. Hell with ND
November 26th, 2022 at 8:15 PM ^
SC is a clone of Riley's OU teams. When the playoffs come around, his big play offense will bog down a little and the defense will get lit up.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:11 PM ^
SC has completely forgotten what direction they are supposed to go
November 26th, 2022 at 8:11 PM ^
USC is getting too cute. They can drive on Notre Dame without all of the trickery
November 26th, 2022 at 8:13 PM ^
Fuck notre shame again and again and fuck Kevin Warren and his “OSU belongs in the playoffs “
November 26th, 2022 at 8:16 PM ^
I agree. Fuck ND. But, did Warren do something to help OSU? Just wondering if there is a back story here that I missed.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:24 PM ^
Just stated in an interview that the nuts still belonged in the playoffs
November 26th, 2022 at 8:31 PM ^
Wow. Thank you!! He didn't have much to say about MSU. I can see commissioner supporting his conference but I am not confident if he will support UM if the game didn't go the way it did today.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
Any humbling of the teams that the talking heads fawn over is welcome!
November 26th, 2022 at 8:18 PM ^
Just seeing the Alabama statistic of 10+ wins 15 straight seasons. Just wow. Talk about being spoiled
November 26th, 2022 at 8:20 PM ^
Best amateur team money can buy.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:20 PM ^
That play is the reason why USC is not good in D. They get confused when there is a misdirection.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
You have to throw the ball there Aggies. They are stacking the box.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:29 PM ^
TX A&M up 17-10 on LSU before the half.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:33 PM ^
One of the best days in college football ever continues to get better and better.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:33 PM ^
Lol, nice play calling, ND. Couldn’t get a measly yard even with multiple people Bush-pushing.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:37 PM ^
If ever there was a time for a naked bootleg that was it. Completely uninspired playcalling by ND there.
ND’s playcalling continues to be ridiculously unimaginative.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:37 PM ^
Lol at Fowler losing his mind emphatically announcing that USC converted an improbable 3rd and 20 after Caleb Williams scrambled backwards about 30 yards...only for it to be 8 yards short.
Dude just shouts, often unintelligibly, into the mic.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:40 PM ^
And then Herbie followed it up by saying 'it looks like he was just short'. The fuck are they smoking?
November 26th, 2022 at 8:45 PM ^
“The fuck are they smoking?”
Lincoln Riley.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:04 PM ^
Then it took him a good 30 seconds after the play to notice the second flag in the end zone.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:41 PM ^
USC looks good.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:48 PM ^
I love hearing Bryson Shaw’s name called, it makes me envision the Haskins hurdle.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:49 PM ^
This ABC camera angle sucks.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:49 PM ^
Nice drive by ND. If they had an offense even 50% better than what they have, they'd be beating SC right now.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:51 PM ^
I don't think I'll be able to handle either OSU or Bama sneaking in as the 4 seed. Really, really want USC to win this and the top 4 to win out next week.
The thought of a matchup with TSU or USC is salivating. The thought of a rematch with OSU or a game against Bama, not so much
November 26th, 2022 at 8:59 PM ^
Human joystick. LOL.
November 26th, 2022 at 8:59 PM ^
Caleb Williams. How in the hell did he escape that and make that big play.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:01 PM ^
I'm in the camp of wanting USC to win this game... put the Bucknuts out of their misery.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:08 PM ^
That's AWESOME!!! I hope someone posts footage of this on YouTube.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:09 PM ^
Awesome day. Might as well keep it going.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:03 PM ^
Is Herbstreit trying to say that USC winning out still need LSU to lose in championship game? That will be too bad if LSU gets in over USC if both win out.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:03 PM ^
I hate ND like any Michigan fan, but this game drives home to me that I hate USC much more.
Much of this stems from the fact that we’ve had planty of success against ND over the years while we’ve been impotent against USC in the Rose Bowl.
But what really clinches it is that goddamned fanfare that the USC band plays when they’re on offense. It brings back all those miserable memories of our Rose Bowl losses to USC.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:14 PM ^
It's that stupid Conquest song. Decades go by and yet they REFUSE to play anything else. When Michigan played USC in Rose Bowls in the 80's, that's all you heard from their band after every damn play. Absolutely nothing has changed. Stand tunes should have variety. Michigan has Let's go blue, Temptation, Blues Brothers, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Aretha Franklin's R-E-S-P-E-C-T, and a slew of drum cheers. USC has Conquest, Conquest, Conquest, Conquest, Conquest until you're so sick of hearing it, you want to throw your TV through the window.
The other PAC 12 teams made up lyrics to Conquest about 15 years ago. It goes....
"This is the only song we know....the only song we know!"
November 26th, 2022 at 9:29 PM ^
“When Michigan played USC in Rose Bowls in the 80's, that's all you heard from their band after every damn play.”
In the ‘70s and ‘80s it became an instrument of PTSD for me.
Bo has a heart attack on the eve of the game, all I hear is that goddamn song.
Charles White scores a TD without the ball, all I hear is that goddamn song.
Refs throw a bullshit flag on a beautiful fake punt, all I hear is that goddamned song.
Fuck USC to hell.
November 26th, 2022 at 9:04 PM ^
TCU is undefeated. Good for them. You can only play the games on your schedule. But if they lose the Big 12 championship game, I really don't see them making the CFP. Based upon which of their wins? A bunch of other contenders, each with two wins better than any one of TCU's
November 26th, 2022 at 9:05 PM ^
Caleb Williams is going to be -2000 for the Heisman after tonight.
