No, LSU was losing next week anyway to Georgia… If USC and TCU win out OSU won’t make it… doesn’t matter what happens in the SEC now…. Georgia even with a loss is in, a Michigan Win they are in, A TCU win next week they are in, a USC win this week and next they are in.

I'm still on a happy high regardless of what happens but I'm not exactly crazy about USC being good again.  Same with Tennessee.  I enjoyed watching those teams be in the gutter.

This is traditionally the only time I ever root for the Trojans.  Notre Dame can fuck themselves until the end of time.

Basically, I prefer USC not being good but still good enough to beat Notre Dame.

Lol at Fowler losing his mind emphatically announcing that USC converted an improbable 3rd and 20 after Caleb Williams scrambled backwards about 30 yards...only for it to be 8 yards short.

Dude just shouts, often unintelligibly, into the mic.

I don't think I'll be able to handle either OSU or Bama sneaking in as the 4 seed. Really, really want USC to win this and the top 4 to win out next week.

The thought of a matchup with TSU or USC is salivating. The thought of a rematch with OSU or a game against Bama, not so much

Is Herbstreit trying to say that USC winning out still need LSU to lose in championship game? That will be too bad if LSU gets in over USC if both win out.

I hate ND like any Michigan fan, but this game drives home to me that I hate USC much more.

Much of this stems from the fact that we’ve had planty of success against ND over the years while we’ve been impotent against USC in the Rose Bowl.

But what really clinches it is that goddamned fanfare that the USC band plays when they’re on offense. It brings back all those miserable memories of our Rose Bowl losses to USC.

It's that stupid Conquest song.  Decades go by and yet they REFUSE to play anything else.  When Michigan played USC in Rose Bowls in the 80's, that's all you heard from their band after every damn play.  Absolutely nothing has changed.  Stand tunes should have variety.  Michigan has Let's go blue, Temptation, Blues Brothers, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Aretha Franklin's R-E-S-P-E-C-T, and a slew of drum cheers.  USC has Conquest, Conquest, Conquest, Conquest, Conquest until you're so sick of hearing it, you want to throw your TV through the window.

The other PAC 12 teams made up lyrics to Conquest about 15 years ago.  It goes....

"This is the only song we know....the only song we know!"

“When Michigan played USC in Rose Bowls in the 80's, that's all you heard from their band after every damn play.”

In the ‘70s and ‘80s it became an instrument of PTSD for me.

Bo has a heart attack on the eve of the game, all I hear is that goddamn song.

Charles White scores a TD without the ball, all I hear is that goddamn song.

Refs throw a bullshit flag on a beautiful fake punt, all I hear is that goddamned song.

Fuck USC to hell.

TCU is undefeated. Good for them. You can only play the games on your schedule. But if they lose the Big 12 championship game, I really don't see them making the CFP. Based upon which of their wins? A bunch of other contenders, each with two wins better than any one of TCU's
