SIAP: UM Opens as 9.5 point Underdogs
November 20th, 2022 at 12:54 PM ^
If Vegas gets a sniff that Corum will play Saturday, this line drops to -7 or -6 OSU.

-How the hell did you get Ohio- Michigan? Nobody ever had Ohio-Michigan, how the hell’d you do it?
-Well, that’s why they paid so well.

From now on put an equal amount of blueberries in each muffin.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:15 PM ^
The lowest I ever saw was OSU -7, and I believe that was right after their terrible performance at Northwestern. Might change either way based on injury news/rumors but I don't think it gets back to 7
November 20th, 2022 at 2:20 PM ^
It was 6.5 last week at some shops.
November 20th, 2022 at 2:20 PM ^
On FanDuel it's already dropped to UM +8.5.
November 20th, 2022 at 12:55 PM ^
God I can’t wait to blow them out…
November 20th, 2022 at 12:55 PM ^
i have maintained for months that we would be 7-10 pt dogs, but i guess after watching ohio have more near-falls than us, i thought it would be closer to 7.
what was the spread last year?
November 20th, 2022 at 12:57 PM ^
I think it got down to 4.5
November 20th, 2022 at 12:57 PM ^
Pretty sure it was 4
November 20th, 2022 at 1:02 PM ^
So it is similar to last year as we were at home and there is uncertainty about our key players.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:19 PM ^
I don't remember 4. I think it got down to 6.5 in some places by game time, but it was in the 7.5-8.5 range in the week leading up
November 20th, 2022 at 7:32 PM ^
-12 OSU is where it opened. 😏
November 20th, 2022 at 1:00 PM ^
We're going to beat the University of Ohio State by a boatload.
I feel it in my soul
November 20th, 2022 at 1:12 PM ^
last year hatter kept posting that we were going to beat ohio, and he did it with absolute certainty. this year he has only done that once that i have seen. i fear that as goes hatter, so go the wolverines in saturday's game. a fading certainty.....
November 20th, 2022 at 1:34 PM ^
The hatter takes the season one game at a time. His confidence is being revealed at the right time. I am on the hatter’s coattails as well. We got this.
November 20th, 2022 at 2:26 PM ^
We are going to beat OSU on Saturday. I became absolutely convinced of it last night.
Despite all of the wailing and gnashing of teeth during yesterday's game, we pulled out a win, and did it without several of our most important players. A lesser team would have lost. But that's not what sealed the deal for me.
My gut tells me Coach was willing to lose that game to give us a better shot at OSU. There were at least a couple guys that probably could have played who didn't. They'll be better healed on Saturday.
We haven't won in Columbus in 22 years. It's time to push that dagger in and prove that last year wasn't a fluke. Michigan is back at its rightful place amongst the best teams in the country and that's where we're staying.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:46 PM ^
Fuck yeah, I'm with it!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:56 PM ^
Tears
ok, not quite, but moving post hatter. I’m counting on you. The whole wolverine nation is, too. No pressure….
November 20th, 2022 at 7:34 PM ^
The Hat has spoken. Let it be as declared.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:05 PM ^
Ohio is going to do everything in its power to run up the score. I hope Michigan is ready.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:18 PM ^
I think Michigan will also try to score as many points as possible
November 20th, 2022 at 2:06 PM ^
And they will try to stop Ohio State from scoring very many points.
November 20th, 2022 at 7:28 PM ^
That's bold, Cotton
November 20th, 2022 at 1:59 PM ^
Hey Einstein is their any other way to win?
November 20th, 2022 at 2:09 PM ^
That seems unnecessary. And yes, I would say that some such as Paul Chryst actually focus on running the clock out once they have a 2 score lead rather than trying to score as much as possible.

Bookies may have paid off the MRI tech.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:12 PM ^
1:00 ET on Sunday (right now) there is a two hour special on The Game. Not sure if it is in my area or everywhere.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:15 PM ^
Take the dog and the points. And fuck Ohio.
November 20th, 2022 at 2:12 PM ^
And the cannoli. Don't forget the cannoli.
November 20th, 2022 at 8:15 PM ^
And leave the gun.
Also, here is my offer to Ohio State. Nothing.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:17 PM ^
The health of the Michigan starters is the key. Harbaugh will keep this close to the vest all week.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:27 PM ^
I hope we are a 21 point underdog. Anything that makes Ohio more certain they are going to win is fine with me. I don’t much care if we drop in rankings either. All that matters is winning the game. The rest will take care of itself.
November 20th, 2022 at 4:29 PM ^
Ohio is very certain they are going to win. They believe that last year was a one time aberration.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:28 PM ^
I love it. Can’t live your life playing the disrespect card but I think it can be valuable in one offs like this.
my predication 35-21… good guys.
November 20th, 2022 at 2:12 PM ^
I believe that's the exact score from the 100th game in this rivalry. I'd take it although that one was at home if I remember correctly.
November 20th, 2022 at 4:27 PM ^
Yep. The Navarre / Perry show.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:31 PM ^
Now 10 points at DK.
November 20th, 2022 at 1:41 PM ^
Easy money
November 20th, 2022 at 1:53 PM ^
What’s the money line?
November 20th, 2022 at 2:22 PM ^
+260 right now on Fan Duel
November 20th, 2022 at 1:55 PM ^
push this to -10 and take that bet
November 20th, 2022 at 1:59 PM ^
Yeah, this seems a bit too high and seemingly ignores how mortal OSU has been basically for a month now. Once we get more certainty about injuries my guess is this goes down to 7-ish.
November 20th, 2022 at 2:14 PM ^
If anything yesterday has told us, college football is a box of chocolates. Nothing is surprising any more. I wouldn't be surprised with any outcome next Saturday.
Blow them out
Blow us out
Close win
Close loss
Only two of those outcomes however, would be delightful.
All I ask is for our lines to come back into phase after phasing out in the second half against Illinois, and for our receivers to wipe the butter from their fingers. Drops and turn overs will really be the the only hard to stomach disappointment next week.
November 20th, 2022 at 2:16 PM ^
I'm not being rhetorical I'm asking because I honestly can't remember. What OSU favored by last year when they got to Ann Arbor?
November 20th, 2022 at 10:20 PM ^
7.5
Which means that Vegas thinks we've closed the gap by about 5 points this year, as a flipped home field is about a 6 point advantage.
November 20th, 2022 at 2:17 PM ^
9.5 implies Michigan's run game is stuffed and the passing game is mediocre. I think OSU will get their points (high 20s). I think Michigan can get 17+ even if they can't run the ball particularly well.
Line is too high. Should be 5.5
November 20th, 2022 at 2:46 PM ^
Yea it’s an OSU line for sure.
November 20th, 2022 at 2:29 PM ^
Line be damned! This is a huge opportunity for Michigan to shut up many of the naysayers and those that are hanging on OSUs nut sack. There isn’t any way they want two from the B10 in the CFP so win and you’re in and lose and it’s Pasadena. Go Blue and JUST Win Baby!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:59 PM ^
I don’t bet Michigan ever. But I would take those points 100X. Wondering if this is purely Vegas worrying about Corum.
