4 TOs for M, 3 for MSU 6 mins into the game
February 24th, 2022 at 6:21 PM ^
This is the first time I’ve watched the women and they’re not looking so good.
maybe I shouldn’t watch.
February 24th, 2022 at 6:25 PM ^
Awful start, seem to be recovering. Naz is going to see double-teams for the rest of the year, I guess.
February 24th, 2022 at 6:25 PM ^
End of the 1st qtr
MSU 14 M 10
Hillman has 9 of the 10 points
M has to clean up the TOs, 5 and
has only hit 4-8 FTs
Held MSU to 2 pts over the last 4 mins, though.
Lets Go Blue!
February 24th, 2022 at 6:27 PM ^
@ Woodstock Wolverines, I think that when I watch them too...
I watched the first MSU game and the Northwestern games
but I also watched the Iowa win
February 24th, 2022 at 6:36 PM ^
The question of who can help out Naz without Brown around remains the biggest deal. If she gets help we win, if it's got to be all her, we've lost.
February 24th, 2022 at 6:44 PM ^
32-32 at half
February 24th, 2022 at 6:44 PM ^
Maintained after Naz's second foul. Tied at the half.
February 24th, 2022 at 6:47 PM ^
Fouls seem one-sided.
February 24th, 2022 at 6:54 PM ^
Just hear to say FYS. Always and everywhere.
February 24th, 2022 at 6:57 PM ^
FYS. Halftime adjustments and then a Wolverine win.
February 24th, 2022 at 7:05 PM ^
Naz is dominating 💪🏾

February 24th, 2022 at 7:20 PM ^
48 - 44 after 3
February 24th, 2022 at 7:20 PM ^
48-44 M after 3
Can't get baskets and stops yet to get some distance
Outside of Hillman's 26 pts, no other Wolverine has more than 6
February 24th, 2022 at 7:25 PM ^
6-0 run to start the 4th
TO MSU
M leads 54-44

Champions of the west going beast mode…
February 24th, 2022 at 7:31 PM ^
Naz Hillmon is the mailwoman - a 21st century Karl Malone. She delivers every time she hits the court.
February 24th, 2022 at 7:35 PM ^
Timeout
M 57-46

MSU is playing tighter D the last few possessions, M has to play solid and get some Offense going again
February 24th, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
Hillman 4 fouls, to the bench, 4 mins to go
up 12
Keep up the good effort Blue!
February 24th, 2022 at 7:39 PM ^
Nice playoff 12s for that girl!
February 24th, 2022 at 7:44 PM ^
Huge rivalry win on senior night! The B1G championship is right within our grasp.
Crowd is chanting MVP for Naz!

Great win and crowd!
February 24th, 2022 at 7:46 PM ^

@Indy Pete:
What? They weren't chanting "Juan Val-dez!"?
February 24th, 2022 at 7:47 PM ^
Happily not their last home game really.
February 24th, 2022 at 7:47 PM ^
Does this win secure the Women a share of the B1G title?
February 24th, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
Way to go ladies!! Great win, Go Blue!
February 24th, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
Nice win! A pretty easy finish for a really good team. Congrats to KBA and her awesome team on an undefeated home record!
February 24th, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
Nice 14-7 4th qtr
Michigan got to send off the senior class, fans chanting 'Thank You Seniors'
Michigan clinches a double bye in the Big Ten tournament
and has the game at Iowa to win and clinch the Big Ten title
Go Blue! Beat the Hawkeyes!
February 24th, 2022 at 7:49 PM ^
😆 Juan is taking over senior nights across the country rob. We are so lucky to have him waking up ADs such as Warde.
February 24th, 2022 at 7:50 PM ^
No share clinched unless PSU rallies from 24 down with 6 left and Rutgers upsets Iowa. Need to beat Iowa. Did clinch a double bye though.
February 24th, 2022 at 7:53 PM ^
All's well that ends well. I kinda enjoyed the commentary of Meghan McKeown, too, gotta say.
February 24th, 2022 at 7:55 PM ^
BTW officially want no part of UConn, Paige Bueckers has been cleared to play.
February 24th, 2022 at 8:17 PM ^
meanwhile, with iowa playing rutger, caitlin clark just hit another three, launching it from somewhere near buffalo, new york. nothing but net.
February 24th, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
The separation between what it feels like Clark shoots from 3 and what her actual percentage is (29%) must be the largest in history.
February 24th, 2022 at 8:25 PM ^
@enlightenedbum
i see that 29.9%, but i wouldn't be surprised to see that was one that is trending up. also, last year she shot nearly 41% which is pretty other-worldly. either way, i am not challenging her to a game of 'horse' any time soon.
EDIT: with iowa a likely winner tonight over a poor rutger team, its really going to come down to the ladies playing at iowa sunday for all the marbles. winner of that game will be the B10 champ.

@robf "Stay close to the candle, the staircase..can be treacherous. "
February 24th, 2022 at 8:52 PM ^
Caitlin Clark often acts like a pre-Madonna.
February 24th, 2022 at 9:07 PM ^
If Caitlin Clark and Jordan Bohannon have a 3-point shooting contest, 2 things are certain:
1. She will win
2. Carver Arena will be a smoking crater by the time they're done
February 24th, 2022 at 9:09 PM ^
Screw it, break out the Muppets!!!!
February 24th, 2022 at 9:47 PM ^
Fun game to witness in person. The girls play with a lot of heart
February 25th, 2022 at 4:55 AM ^
are the points stuck again?
February 25th, 2022 at 8:41 AM ^
Leigha Brown's absence due to her lingering injury suffered at the end of January and the inability to reschedule the February 3 game at Illinois (6-18 1-12 in Big Ten games and winless since January 9) makes the final game of the regular season at Iowa a difficult challenge for the Wolverines who are only 5-4 in away games this season. It could mean the difference between first place and third place in the Big Ten standings.
A win would make the Wolverines 14-3 and Big Ten champs. A loss would make the Wolverines 13-4, and if Ohio State beats Michigan State, then Iowa and Ohio State both would be 14-4. Ohio State then would be Big Ten champs thanks to having beaten Iowa in the only game they've played, despite Michigan then having a combined 3-1 record against Ohio State and Iowa.
I'm being reminded of the old UPS commercial and that tagline, "What can Brown do for you?"
And that "Seinfeld" moment.
