Now...I Like Pizza As Much As The Next Guy...

But taking up the first hundred or so comments on a post about Harbaugh and the Bears debating Chicago's best pizza is ridiculous. IMO, of course. Given that I did mention pizza in the post heading, I'll recommend Burt's Place. It's in Morton Grove.

Now...about the Bears/Harbaugh "short" conversation it could be:

Bears: Hi Jim, care to talk about the coaching position in Chicago?
JH: Yeah I do but I'm busy now. Can you call back tomorrow morning?

...or...

Bears: Hi Jim, care to talk about the coaching position in Chicago?
JH: No.

So we have spent another million or so words and provided not a jot of additional clarity. I just added an additional hundred or so to the pile.

Seriously though, this whole Harbaugh story is beginning to evolve into COVID "for the love of all that is holy, can't this please just be over already" territory.

New Haven CT had great pizza there’s at least 3 spots( Frank Pepe’s, Modern and Bar) that I’d put up as better than any of the Rays, Famous rays or whatever other NY pizza place.  Some people swear by Sally’s but they have absolute godawful customer service.  Wooster st in New haven is historically the birthplace of pizza in the U.S.  supposed Frank Pepe came back from serving WWII in Italy and decided to open a place that served thin pizza from a coal fired oven like he had during his service time.

There’s an episode of to catch a predator, where the predator takes a pizza to the decoy and the pizza looks phenomenal. I think they were in Connecticut. I don’t know if it’s any good, but I guarantee people went looking for that pizza place after the episode aired. In my mind, that’s the best pizza in the world.

C'mon. Fess up. You know you like it.

You complain about discussion of Harbaugh's future by introducing a new thread discussing Harbaugh's future?

Anyway, what else is there to do other than keep on chattering, considering that Harbaugh—for some unfathomable reason—is not sharing his private thoughts about his life and career with us. ("We'd keep it a secret, Jim. Honest we would.")

ME claims JH contacted him about the DL position - I had read here it was the other way around...

Love me some Brown Dog pizza in Telluride!!!!

Thankfully a Jets in Phx now too. Not Brown Dog, but not bad for being close.

There’s a place here called Fat Bob and their pizza is fantastic.

also, Deep Dish > NY > all other pizza > Detroit style. I’m sure there are delicious detroit style out there but Jets pizza ruined it for me. Their pizza is so bad I associate the entire style of pizza with  Jets

All this talk of pizza made me decide to get a pie to go from a little restaurant near my hotel. Meat lovers with double cheese!

Punta Italia in Punta Cana. If you’re ever in the area and are looking for a brick oven pizza, it’s niiiice!

Basketball team is struggling. Hockey team is heading to the Olympics. We may or may not have a football coach. What’s the issue with debating pizza preferences?

I like pizza, all of it. Thick, thin, somewhere in the middle, even bad pizza is still mostly fine. I'll even eat it with pineapple even though I wouldn't ever order that myself. I don't care what city it comes from, it's all good to me!
