Here's a place to discuss the early games until our game comes on.

Early out the gate, Colorado is making Georgetown look bad.

Glad LSU and the Bonnies are getting their brokeness out of the way today so they can come shoot lights out against us...I mean today's winner....Monday afternoon.

Yeesh this game is u-g-l-y, with no alibi.

Hail to the Vi…

LSU seems to be struggling early against an opponent with an organized and competent defense. They can definitely score in bunches so I expect the offense to warm up a little bit, but 2 points in 7 minutes raises an eye brow a little bit. Kinda re-enforces the notion they are not used to playing against willing and able team defenses in the SEC. Good news for Michigan.

Counterpoint: The Bonnie's are no joke either and can play some suffocating defense.

Still think you can see some dudes LSU has. Bonnies doing well on D keeping them out of transition. Still don’t see anyone on Bonnies O to score enough this game to win.

I would love it if the NCAA actually got some *teeth* and *principle* into their rules enforcement.  I know so many people rag on them (a small amount of it justified, but much of it is sour grapes for various reasons), yet I think the NCAA still serves a good purpose - it just needs the resources, authority, and leadership to do what is right and needed - not simply going through the motions (and keeping the money flowing).

It is also surprising the IRS doesn't get more involved.  People try to pass it off as "who cares if a kid gets a few thousand dollars under the table?", yet 1) many of these cases are 5-6 digit under the table payouts and 2) it is easily thousands of kids each year (among the various revenue sports at programs likely to involve illegal money).  A lot of dirty money here.

Bonnies seem like a 12-13 seed to me. Yeah they can D, but 0 offense. Doesn’t even look like they got guys who can score consistently, but just not today. Maybe 1 dude, that’s it.

Just joining, but if nobody has not made this prediction yet....I am calling Eastern Washington Coach Shantay Legans as the coach who gets the biggest raise/job offers coming out of the tournament.  His guys run Princeton sets and he clearly has not been able to get recruits there from outside of rural Washington.
