Iowa jerseys - yeah or nay?

This. People seem to be forgetting this is a night game at Kinnick. Don’t think for one second PSU is going to look this flat when they face us in THEIR house under the lights during a White-Out.

Plus, there’s still an entire half to go. PSU has established a pretty strong historical precedence for weak first halves and crushingly dominant second halves.

I think they'll look better but they've also struggled at times against better defenses; both Iowa and Pitt have bottled them up.  Michigan should be the underdog in that game and I expect PSU to win, but this isn't PSU from 2017 and I don't see them blitzing Michigan quite like that.

The coaches on various teams are all wearing sweatshirts with the team name in gradient letters.  Including Michigan today.  Who's coordinating that?  The networks?  Apparel manufacturers like Nike?  The conference?

I remember Iowa wearing those ugly shoulder stripes against us once in the 90s when Gary Moeller was our coach.

Ugly as hell but not so ugly that it distracted from the awesomeness of watching Tyrone Wheatley run all over their defense.

Joe Burrow is a savage, it's crazy that OSU has all these good QBs at one point. Maybe we should hire Coach O, I wouldn't mind being LSU.

When you look at Burrow play QB you see a guy with a much better handle on the position than most. He's not mistake-free, but he is so much better at finding an available option and so much better technique-wise than the gentleman playing QB for us. Burrow has a more targeted and tighter throw on the run than Patterson ever has, to put it bluntly.

But let's not kid ourselves..Burrow isn't exactly an every day QB in CFB either. Most teams are rolling out QBs worse than that.

Iowa's offense is not good.  Perhaps hiring his son was not the offensive change that Kirk needed to make.

And as I type that, they complete passes!

The defense will be just fine against the Penn State offense next week.

The dysfunctional Michigan offense will torpedo that game.

I'm worried about the PSU defense next week, but their offense is not all that inspiring.  Night game on the road and all that, but they've had one drive go longer than 30 yards, and that's mostly just Hamler.  Michigan has corners who can hang with him and if they can bottle him up I'm not sure PSU has many other options.

Stanley a little off tonight.  Even the deep ball was a little short.  Could have been 6.

Is PSU getting away with some late hits on him?  Some of these have looked close.

At the half Stanleys numbers look much better than Clifford. 14of 23 for 147  vs  5 of 15 for 60   looks like Sheas numbers last week for Clifford.

ND is running nearly at will on SC.  Still can't believe SC didn't keep Cajun Cookie.  Seems like a mistake.

And I'm surprised that FL is staying with LSU.

To be fair, it was a calculated risk, dude blindly lobbed it..but into an area where there were two Florida receivers but only one LSU defender. Clearly LSU had a coverage bust there, so if you're going to make a panicked throw like that..that's probably the best way of doing it. Throw a 50/50 ball in an area where you have one more guy than the others.
