RV Parking Ideas - Seeking advice
We had rented an RV for this weekend, and didn't realize parking would be such a disaster. Any thoughts as to likelihood of getting in to Pioneer day of with cash? Will they have a designated waiting area if we get there before noon?
Any other areas that tend to be successful? Possibility of parking it at the mall, and taking the bus in?
Thanks in advance!

Pioneer and Fingerle are your best bets for RV parking as far as I know. Are they all booked up via Park n Party?

We got a spot at Fingerle about a month ago and it was pretty much sold out by then, so not too sure there's going to be anything left there.

This is Pioneer's website for gameday parking. Looks like RV parking is all sold out. You may be able to try to be added to a wait list there but no idea how long that list will be.
UM website shows Brown Lot parking for RV's which is cash only day of the game. Looks like it's at the Varsity Tennis Center so it is a bit of a hike from the stadium.

There’s a cart path through the golf course to stadium. It’s the length of holes 11 and 18. Not that terrible.

Oh perfect. I've never parked there and didn't know that. Good info if I decide to one day.

The Brown Lot has RVs and is a nice walk.

Always book ahead if possible. Fingerle Lumber is where I stay. At Pioneer you aren't guaranteed a gameday space even if you reserve. Season passes at Pioneer are guaranteed. Park n Party had another RV location south of the stadium on State St, IIRC.

I've got an available driveway within a mile of the stadium that could accommodate an RV. Shoot me an email at quinshomes AT gmail.com if you'd like to discuss.

Parking for everyone---not just RV parking--- is going to be a mess this Saturday.
Here's the note I got yesterday from AAGO about the damaged condition of the golf course and resulting likelihood they won't be able to offer parking for the Wisconsin game:

With heavy rain in tomorrow's forecast, I wouldn't bet on parking on the U of M course either.
And as for RV parking, I don't know of any other than Pioneer, Fingerle Lumber and the U of M Brown Lot. I suppose Briarwood Mall or Meijer or some other far-away large shopping center lot are possibilities though the tailgating atmosphere might be slightly less than desirable.

Arbor Bridge Church at 2500 S. Main St. between Busch's and the mall charges $30 for RV parking. Paved parking and overnight is allowed. It's an easy one mile walk to the stadium. Email [email protected] for more information.

This is from the MI Event Parking site for Pioneer:
Saturday 10.13 - University of Michigan vs. Wisconsin | 7:30 PM KICKOFF
⚠ PLEASE NOTE ADJUSTED GATE ENTRY TIMES FOR NIGHT GAMES ⚠ (noon for non-pass holders)
PREMIUM GAME PARKING RATES: $60 Autos | $300 RVs
RV PARKING FOR THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT. Passes will not be sold at the gate. Please contact us to be added to the waiting list in the event of cancellations or added inventory for this event.
AAPS District determines standard and premium game parking rates. Prior pass sales for this event will be honored at the original purchase price. Additional details for RV entry times will be posted prior to the event date.
So you could take a chance and swing by Pioneer to see if maybe they had an opening, or try and get on the waiting list, but you may want to plan an alternate location. There have been some solid recs in this thread - would be worth looking into.
