The MAC is looking like their usual self. Akron down 14-0 to UCF and Ball State is losing to Illinois State 14-9.

I could see NIU beating PU later in the year. Iowa plays Western Michigan in a few weeks too so who knows how Iowa will lose that one.

UNLV is running about 2 plays for each one Minnesota runs on offense right now. The Gophers managed a shade over 40 yards in the first quarter though, so reasonably Big Ten.
..and then Nelson actually breaks off a run for a TD against the 106th-ranked rushing defense from last year. I can't even imagine how hard that would be.

I think UNLV is a lock for the bottom 10 of FBS and Minnesota is really struggling with them at home. I would be worried if I was a gopher fan

UNC vs So Carolina is back on and UNC is already moving the ball well. Outside of that first quarter I think North Carolina looks more consistent. ESPN's Clowney Cam has shown him with his hands on his hips almost all game.

Field Goal for North Carolina. 20-10 Couth Carolina lead. NC got it down to about the 3 but couldn't get it in.

Clowney isn't doing jack tonight. That LT is holding his own and even the TE stoned him on the goal line play. Lots of chatter about taking plays off, being tired, etc... I hope this ends or quiets the Clowney Heisman talk.
