Pipkins' measurables suggest that he's a large man but it's hard to tell since we've never seen him stand next to Doug Karsch.
He might not be ready for playing time since he's about 25-30 pounds overweight.
As a true freshman, it's unlikely he has the strength he'll have over the next 2-3 years so being a big guy doesn't always do much when you're going up against guys stronger than you. Will Campbell was a similar size early in his career and got DESTROYED by Iowa's mature/senior offensive line.
You can play at that weight, especially in a limited role if you have superior strength like Terrence Cody of Alabama. I'm not sure we can expect a true freshman to have such strength. Nor do I think we can expect him to have the technique of a Mike Martin. So being a big body with neither doesn't do anything at this level.
Hopefully he can trim does and use his athleticism until the college level strength and technique come along. Because if you've got those two things at the NG position, it doesn't matter what weight you are except for stamina purposes. But if you show me a 337 kid who is strong and can stay low...I'll show you one hell of an interior DL. I may only be able to show you for a couple plays, but those two things make that position.
Holy Santa Claus shit, T Rich weighs 154 pounds...I remember when I had my first beer.
I drink like 6-8 beers everytime i go out and I'm 136 pounds ohh god why???
I drink like 6-8 beers everytime i go outYou're talking about breakfast, right? Lightweight (I'm 38 and maybe 160).
i have no i idea why but i find wormley wearing #43 odd.
He wore it in football and basketball at Whitmer in HS. But yes it seems like a Fullback number to me.
i thought that was his highschool # buts wasnt sure. i cant remember the last michigan dlineman to wear that #.
Wormley wore 47 in HS, which is retired by UM, but soon to be "Legend'd"
To answer your other question, did Carl Diggs ever line up at DE or was he strictly LB?
Section 4, Article 1 under "Rule 1" recommends 1-49 as the numbers for backs among offensive players, 50-59 for "snapper", 60-69 for guards, 70-79 for tackles and 80-99 for ends (per the diagram in the rulebook, of course).
No such rules exist for defensive players. You simply cannot have players with the same number in on the same down.
Ryan Glasgow a DL and not an OL? Was this always the plan or did I miss something?
Also, why do some sites post Glasgow Ryan instead of Ryan Glasgow? I see the same for Graham too.

Graham is the OL...
Meet the new walkons-
91 Kenny Allen K/P 6-3/175
6 Brian Cleary QB 6-3/205
3 Bo Dever WR 6-2/190
79 Dan Gibbs OL 6-7/320
96 Ryan Glasgow DL 6-4/265
59 Mark Lawson LB 6-2/195
46 Chris Maye DB 5-11/175
31 Andre Offerdahl S 5-11/191
63 Ben Pliska OL 6-3/275
Our O-Line recruits are Oliphaunts!
I think Bo Dever and Dan Gibbs have a shot to see the field in some capacity one day.

One of my favorite times of the offseason. Official heights and weights are put out. Just updated my roster on NCAA 13. The only thing I wish we could do is be able to type in the hometowns of the players. Because I'm sick of putting Palm Bay in for all the guys from Pahokee.
Just download the OS updated roster...it has all the legit cities (if they are in the game).
You have to use Belle Glade, it's 10-15 minutes from Pahokee.
Palm Bay isn't anywhere near Pahokee and Palm Beach, is well, a beach...so it's an hour away as well.
