EDIT: OT- Wednesday Night Drinking/ Other Sports Thread.
It's a very rare night in which there are a few things worth watching during summer.
#1 The Tigers look to keep pace with the Sox who, with a win today, now sit atop the AL Central table. Lets get a win, Maxy.
#2 (In Retrospect) Our girls got a W today over France in a comeback 4-2 victory.
#3 Liverpool and Roma squaring off in Fenway.
#4 The MLS all stars taking on Chelsea. "This is a band of rivals, elected by the people, who have come together to defeat a common enemy." - ESPN
Between the laptop and the tele, I'll be keeping an eye on as much as possible.
Let's go Tigers, and Let's go Blue!
EDIT: Proposed that this is the drinking thread, too. I agree...
I'm drinking a glass of cold milk while studying for my tax final tomorrow. Wooooo!!!
How much did you pay?
My local store has it for $11.99.....for a freaking bottle.
Would rather pay the $9.99 for a 4-pack of 90 minute...
It was $9.99 for the bottle last one they had left...decided to pull the trigger since I never see it or have never had one.
At least we for sure got 1 this year.
There goes the lead
I had a few coronas with my dinner tonight. Enjoying the Tigers game with my Grandpa right now.
On another topic, anyone read about the 14 year old QB that just committed to the Washington Huskies? Recruiting in football appears like it's heading down the same path as basketball recruiting with earlier and earlier commits every year. This just seems absolutely crazy to me.

Also, if you live in central lower Michigan, especially along the US 23 corridor from Bay City to Flint, brace yourselves for some potentially dangerous thunderstorms tonight.
Tonight's beer list:
Started with a Roy Pitz Mind Your P's and Q's (trippel)
Next up, Old Engine Oil (old ale)
Alba Scots Pine Ale (pine ale)
ended with a Fraoch Heather Ale
Old Engine Oil carried the day.
No, I'm not a college student!
Essays are reaching acceptable draft form, except for one really horrible topic that only lives in outline form. You all have inspired me to drive to the gas station and pick up some tall boys.
Long, sweaty day at work followed up by hanging out in air conditioning and getting at least a little buzzed this evening.
High Life is better than I remembered from those college days up north. Next on deck: Yuengling.
Awesome. Just, awesome. Congrats.
Yeah, Yuengling is way better than High Life.
what "you" means.
Also, for anyone interested, what's the difference between avaian flu and swine flu?
I'm watching our glorious wins over JoePa. They seem extra sweet these days.
Thanks to recent NCAA sanctions against Ohyo and Psu RR's record at Michigan has improved to 15-18. Awww yeah.
Darn. Thanks for the clarification.
