Wilkins to Auburn
Were you looking for some sort of meltdown? This place did not see Wilkins committing to UM realistically and pretty much assumed he would be an Auburn commit. You want to see a meltdown, come here if Treadwell commits elsewhere, but I'm hoping he's UM all the way.
Ahhhh yes I forgot about all of that nonsense. I didn't really take the time to read all of the stuff when we found out RDT was in fact WIAB. I read some of it to understand what was going on with it all, but once I found out I kinda quit reading due to there being like 7 threads on it in one day. lol
What happened exactly? And what does WIAB stand for?
Wolverine In A Bag. I can't really remember what exactly happened, but it was something like RDT went to post something on the board. When he did that however, he apparently had his other account (Wolverine in a bg) up and posted it from that account. I probably have a few details wrong, but I'm a little foggy on exactly how everything went down. So if anyone else cares to explain better feel free to do so.
Good info and........hilarious!
Max Redfield committed to USC today making it 16 2013 commits and 4 DB recruits for USC. They only have room for 2 more recruits max but still may take one more DB. But this could be good news for our chances with Leon McQuay (although I still think Vandy is the primary threat).
Also, USC commit Eldridge Massington tore his ACL this week. Will be interesting to see how Kiffin handles it considering their scholarship reductions.
Another crazy note while on topic of USC: They already have 3 commits for their 2014 class--all OL. Seems kind of early to take that many OL especially considering USC's circumstances.
Massington will get a medical hardship.
Oh, he's yours did Lane call dibs? Did we miss something? Well clearly there is no reason to continue to recruit him. Someone should really get the word out to the coaches hopefully the coaches read the blog since apparently Dave Brandon does.
and it's all over.
Sorry I only stalk our coach every OTHER week.
And your guess would be wrong. I live in Redondo a block from the ocean.
glad you think so highly of my zip code
It depends, are you a guy in your 20's trying to go out every night and get some baby doll down by the water? Then Hermosa is the obvious choice.
Are you a guy in your 30's with a wife and a child and want a quiet but nice beach town in LA county where you can let your kid play outside and go down by the beach without fear of them running into whores and drunks? Redondo is the better choice.
So it depends on where you are in life I would say.
If he called himself "TrojanDamnMan."
The time lag theory makes sense to me. I expect we'll see running back recruits lined up out the door once guys like Kalis, Magnuson, Dawson, etc, etc get established. Same thing with wide receivers vis a vis Shane.
Plus, I don't see a problem with the running backs and wide receivers who are committed in 12 and 13. The coaches see enough in them to make offers and the kids see enough in M to want to commit. Sounds like a good combo to me and perhaps more attractive than the 5*s out there who aren't so sure.
Trust me when I say that no one needs to worry about our recruiting prowess, especially w/Hoke & this Staff. Except for average recruiting classes that got depleted constantly throughout RR's tenure and the last couple of years of Carr's efforts, we've been a perennial top 10 recruiting school.
This program is entering a golden era in our history, let's enjoy the ride and be thankful DB hired BH!!!
Go Blue!!!
This USC class just keeps getting more ridiculous with Redfield now committing. They realistically can have the top class in the country with only 18 recruits.
With Redfield on board there's no way they'll take McQuay III. This is pretty great news.
Looks like USC got another, OL Casey Tucker. I think that leaves them with one open spot in the class. Long snapper?
My bad. Mods delete.
Time to commit.
