Sam Webb Interviews "Logie" Tuley Tillman
This morning on the Michigan Insider, there was a interview Sam Webb had with LTT and his Mother. Some ot the important points:
-Michigan remains his outright leader, by a long shot
-This was LTT's 6th visit to Michigan, 1st with his mother
-Has developed a great relationship with Coach Funk
-His Aunt living close to Ann Arbor is VERY important to him
-His Mother wants him to go to UM, and she seemingly stressed that several times in the interview
-His Mother calls him "Logie"
-He will take all of his official visits
-Loves the family atmosphere at Michigan
I think it's going to take an awful lot for a school to pass Michigan. There are too many built in advantages for Michigan. Also, as most of us have learned "If Momma ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy!". I really think he respects the policy of no visits once committed. If not for that, I think he'd have committed by now. I don't see LTT being swayed by visits, I think he just honestly respects getting a scholarship offer so much, and he wants to give those schools a shot.

What does that mean? Is that a paying players reference?

And he graduated from Alabama, cause while in the military, it was the only university that offered all their courses - online.

Yeah.
After the Diamond (and to a lesser extent Garnett) affair this year, I think you've gotta hold off on your love until a guy signs. That's not saying you shouldn't have prospects that you want or prefer. Just that when a player signs elsewhere on signing day, it's easier to swallow.

love this kid, but just got a bad feeling that he will be someplace else.
although if I was a long time michigan fan but a blue chip recruit I can't blaim him, I to would like to see whats out there and be treated like royalty

You mean we have former recruits already on campus who play in actual games for us?
February 13th, 2012 at 11:15 AM ^
Yeah, watching them is a nice distraction until the next signing day.

I only talk about players who might play for Michigan.

I just have a feeling over the next decade that what ever their record, U of M will have a pretty great record when it comes to arrest rates, graduation rates, GPA, and sheer exccelence.

Nothing like a 6'7" monster with a nickname like that.. Love it..

This was a huge visit because it was his mom's first time being there with him. He's told me on multiple occasions that his mom was going to be a huge influence on his decision and the fact that she liked it so much could be the tipping point for Logan's recruitment. A big win this weekend for the coaching staff.

i'm going to paint a picture,we need more than one O-Lineman.What happens when 4 or 5 guys commit? I'm hoping LTT commits before that happens. He has to commit earlier IF he wants to be a Wolverine!!!GO BLUE LTT!!!

In case you haven't figured it out by watching the cases of Josh Garnett, Jordan Diamond, Alex Kozan, etc., the chances of Michigan's large O-line class filling up anytime soon are very slim. There will almost certainly be room to take Logan Tuley-Tillman in December or January or even February if he wants to commit.
