Very Classy Move by New Orleans Saints on Saturday
I didn't see this on the board but think it is worthy of knowing. The New Orleans Saints, for the playoff game against the Lions saturday, left a seat empty in the press box and posted a sign saying "The New Orleans Saints Honor the Memory of Tom Kowalski."
That is about as classy as it gets. They didn't have to do something like that. It also reminded me about Tom's writing and how I wish he were around to see this past season and the future for the Lions.

Almost makes up for them throwing late into the 4th quarter...

are pros. If they did not want the Saints to keep throwing on them they should have stopped it, once.

It was meant as no disrespect to the Lions, just how Brees and Payton play every game. Agreed with the other post if the Lions could have stopped it then it wouldn't have been an issue.

When the trailing team is still throwing the ball and trying to score points I see no problem with this (as much as it hurt to see the Lion's secondary shredded).

you want the other team to stop playing, take a knee yourself.
Not to mention that we've all seen large leads inexplicably lost in the last minutes of a game.

To make sure NO covered the spread. Which they did.

Yes what the Saints should have done was handed the ball back to the Lions, and then let them score a touchdown. That way the Lions would feel better.

I didn't even realize he had passed away! Very saddened to hear this and what an extremely classy move by the New Orleans Saints!

What a classy move by the Saints. Definitely pulling for them over San Fran

Oh, Killer. We all wish we could have shared this season with ya. RIP.

Doing it was classy. Doing it when no one expected it is even more. Obviously, the Saints actions are consistent with all accounts on Killer. Class guy, well liked. To the guy whining about the Saints throwing late in the fourth, obviously the Saints have more respect for the Lions and what they're offense is capable of than you.
