| 10 weeks 4 days ago | "Since the first time these |
"Since the first time these teams met (original preview here), the Hoosiers have established themselves as the clear-cut team to beat in the conference and perhaps the best team in the country." Indiana is 5 and 3 since we first played them. Same as us btw. |
| 10 weeks 4 days ago | yeah you say that but |
I'm guessing if we lose or even get smoked, there won't be many my bads for the guy. |
| 13 weeks 3 days ago | oops |
good thing PSU is as bad as they are. |
| 19 weeks 1 day ago | 15 isnt set in stone, if you |
15 isnt set in stone, if you get up to 17-18 in a given year so be it. |
| 19 weeks 1 day ago | We should be taking 4 OLs |
We should be taking 4 OLs every year (with maybe an occassional year where we only take 3), whether we have a depth problem or not. Last year we only took 4 (despite ridiculous lack of depth) and according to those in the know we would have taken 7 if Garnett, diamond and Kozan all wanted in. We really needed to get at least one of those guys. In any event taking 6 (or perhaps 7 although I don't see that happening) makes perfect sense, you're sort of ignoring your second sentence, the liklihood is that the weakest of the 6 or 7 will leave and the logjam will resolve itself. |
| 19 weeks 1 day ago | the reality is if you take 6 |
the reality is if you take 6 or 7, its quite likely that not all of them are around 5 years from now, the "problem" likely never occurs. |
| 20 weeks 4 days ago | because as a 2nd year player |
because as a 2nd year player he's averaging 18 mins, 5 pts, 2 assists and shooting 38% from the field for a team that as of today wouldnt make the playoffs? Not quite silly just yet. |
| 21 weeks 16 hours ago | thanks |
for the thoughts. Dont mind the mindless homophobes, an unfortunate segment of our fanbase. |
| 34 weeks 2 days ago | you should go post this on a GA board |
Georgia might be a possible. They play GA Tech (and Southern and LA Tech), and while they are a decent program, they are not a big name. [shaking my head] |
| 34 weeks 2 days ago | "Beyond that, I know that I |
"Beyond that, I know that I won't go to a game in Tuscaloosa or Talahassee or Austin or Eugene or Boise." Why? I don't know all those towns but Austin for example would be amazing, and I would think all of those towns are far more interesting than South Bend (well not sure about Talahassee). |
| 34 weeks 2 days ago | always |
hate people complaining about prices, you dont want to pay, don't pay, but especially galling when they are in fact cheap, $25 a game, are you kidding me? |

worried about our bcs standing? |
| 34 weeks 2 days ago | one man's masterpiece |
I went to PTs once a few years ago, and I and the other 5 UM fans with me thought it was absolutely horrible and we will never return. Yes lots of UM energy but everything else and especially the food was awful. |
| 34 weeks 3 days ago | interesting |
none of the fanboys mention another top spot he took over in our record books last night, most interceptions. And he has 50% of the attempts that the second place guy (Henne) had. Course that doesn't matter. |
| 35 weeks 5 hours ago | funny comment |
given your signature right below it |
| 35 weeks 16 hours ago | and if |
he'd only thrown 6, we would have won. |
| 35 weeks 2 days ago | Tyrone was absolutely blazing as a frosh |
I would say faster than Denard. He actually got slower as he got older, probably because he got so big. Watch this highlight from the previous Rose Bowl, I'm not sure I've ever seen a player turn the corner like this. Note for the young, the Washington D in this video was amazing.

| 37 weeks 3 days ago | Good piece |
I was there and you captured the despair spot on. And the seemingly endless mind numbing handoffs to Smith is the perfect summation of it all. |

| 1 year 4 weeks ago | Very interesting thread, too |
Very interesting thread, too long (with so many long posts) for me to read in full but I agreed with a lot of what I read. I went to UM law (and undergrad) and am a partner at one of the top 10 firms in the country. So I'm easily a 1%er when it comes to law school grad success. My advice generally to people is dont go to law school. If you are smart enough and hard working enough to have great success in law, you can make more money and/or have more satisfaction/better lifestyle in other professions. If people really want to give law a try I say go to a great school or dont go. Now note thats a big city big law perspective. So I would say if you're not going to a great school than yeah take the scholarship. My firm for example wouldnt care if you went to Wayne St or MSU. You'd probably have no chance at either but you'd have to have absolutely killed it (like be 1st in your class) at either. At someplace like Iowa, you would have a little better chance but if you're not top10% at a place like Iowa, again no chance. To be clear there will always be exceptions, always be success stories from small schools and failures from the best schools, but the percentages are stacked against you in a big way from a lesser school. |
| 1 year 6 weeks ago | Not too surprising if true, |
Not too surprising if true, we have 16 and seemingly will (expect? Hope?) add at least 2 DLs, 2 LBs, a WR and a RB. That's 22 and we could be full. but even if we're not we could take another DL, another WR, a TE or even an OT. |
| 1 year 7 weeks ago | I suspect I'll spend a lot |
I suspect I'll spend a lot more than that. Also flying from NYC, but probably staying at least 3 nights, may be making a quick trip to Austin, got the most expensive tix, I think 275 a pop. And then of course there is booze and bbq costs which will be substantial. |
| 1 year 8 weeks ago | this is such a dumb thread. |
this is such a dumb thread. Roy, the doctors, Marshall and his parents will sit down and figure it out. And without being a specialist and actually seeing the relevant medicial specifics, xrays etc, you have zero business talking about the medical aspects of this. |
| 1 year 8 weeks ago | no offense but this is not |
no offense but this is not news, everybody but the agents who are chirping in his ear thinks he should stay, probably at least 2 more years. Problem is kids sometimes do dumb things. |
| 1 year 10 weeks ago | I cant believe this silly |
I cant believe this silly comparison came up again. Terrible thread. |
| 1 year 10 weeks ago | those are the 2 that stuck |
those are the 2 that stuck out for me too...a great 8 without snoop or chris?!!!! |
| 1 year 11 weeks ago | I think your list is right on |
I think your list is right on except that I think we really need to take the 2 more WRs. I hope we get to 23 and take exactly what you listed (with the 2 wrs), although its not that I want a TE but the coaches seem to. I would not take a 4th LB, I would use the 24th spot if available for a(hopefully) stud corner or safety, or even a rb if somehow we could convince Issac and Smith to come aboard. |
| 1 year 11 weeks ago | its probably like a Michigan |
its probably like a Michigan hat or something. people are reading way too much into this. |
