Hell of a game you guys
Hey everybody I just wanted to say you dominated us from start to finish and Michigan looks great and I can see you guys ripping apart Ohio State next weekend. Some things I wanted to reflect on with my visit to Ann Arbor.
1. The people here are very friendly and fun to talk to and to be honest I'm sad to leave because I wanted to see more of the campus.
2. The Big House is loud and awesome my ears are still ringing from the noise and your fans are loud and passionate like ours lol
3. Michigan Stadium ushers are so helpful to visiting fans who are new to the stadium I had no idea where my seats were going to be at in the stadium so I asked some people and I found them right away! I was opposite of the scoreboard that wasn't working at the endzone.
4. Denard Robinson is an amazing athlete and you're very lucky to have him and Toussaint. Both of them played amazing!
5. Your defense is incredible! They completely shut down T-magic and Burkhead and we really didn't have an answer to your defense.
It was an incredible experience and I hope to be back again soon because I had so much fun and I love Ann Arbor already lol. Next time I hope to see more of the campus! Have a great weekend all of you and I'm sure you're going to throw a hell of a party in Michigan tonight lol. Great effort Blue and always GO HUSKERS! :)

glad you had a good gameday experience, (happier we won, of course)
November 19th, 2011 at 4:10 PM ^
That is dignity. Do you see that, Michigan State?
November 19th, 2011 at 4:10 PM ^
glad you could make it. next time stay longer.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:12 PM ^
For your thoughtfulness and class! This is just the start of a rivalry that looks to provide tons of excitement for years to come. Have a safe trip home and as always, Go Blue :)
November 19th, 2011 at 4:23 PM ^
and then Sparty falling to 3rd rival behind Ohio and Nebraska. I give it 5 years.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:39 PM ^
I always thought they were behind Notre Dame also...
November 19th, 2011 at 4:12 PM ^
You are always welcome around these parts- glad to see that there is another fanbase in the B1G that values sportsmanship and class. Good luck against Iowa and your bowl game, Nebraska is a better team than the score reflected.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:20 PM ^
lol man oh man you guys go all out on gameday. That golf course see's a lot of people and cars on Saturday I can tell lol.
Now the round building next to Michigan Stadium that's Crisler and the one next to it is your hockey rink right? Nice field hockey field too!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:24 PM ^
Actually the addition next to Crisler is a brand new practice facility. The hockey rink is on the other side of the parking lots and practice fields, it's a much older looking building. It is really beautiful and really takes you back if you can get in when it's empty and look around. Definitely worth a visit.
Glad you enjoyed your trip, we (most of us anyway) pride ourselves on being good hosts- we have learned from watching the way MSU and OSU do things!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:29 PM ^
looked like either a track or some kind of atheltic complex. Do you guys have an indoor practice field for Michigan's football team? I won't lie I bought a souvenir while at the Big House lol. It's a yellow T-shirt that says Michigan in blue on it and it's yellow or what you like to call maize :P. I got a program too so I'll be reading that on my flight home lol
November 19th, 2011 at 4:34 PM ^
.....is actually where my mother-in-law works. It is where the Occupational Safety and Envrionmental Health group resides. Security is near there too, I think.
EDIT: A bit of city history - it was a factory at one point in its life. Allied Screw Works, I think.
November 19th, 2011 at 6:59 PM ^
That's the Campus Safety Services Building AKA the Kipke building. The UM police are in there with Occupational Safety and Environmental Health and storage facilities for one of the archaeological museums and the paleontology museum.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:41 PM ^
The team recently moved out of their old practice facility Oosterbaan fieldhouse, they are now at Glick Fieldhouse, which opened a couple years ago.

Either way, Crisler and the stadium are a bit separated from the other sports. Hope you got to see a bit of the town while you were in A2, or get to see some more when/if you can make it back!
November 19th, 2011 at 5:42 PM ^
I highly recommend heading to Yost tonight for the game vs Ohio State. There's nothing like the atmosphere at a Michigan hockey game. Tickets should be around $20
November 19th, 2011 at 4:12 PM ^
I hope we can aspire to the class that Nebraska fans show, both on the road and to visitors in Lincoln.

Also, she asked for directions...
November 19th, 2011 at 4:13 PM ^
glad you enjoyed the trip. ive heard nothing but great things about lincoln and nebraska fans. i'll be out there next year and look forward to it. great day to be a michigan wolverine!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:13 PM ^
I amvery happy that you enjoyed your time in Ann Arbor! Thanks for posting this - very classy.
November 19th, 2011 at 6:41 PM ^
that not only have the Husker fans I've interacted with been very classy but what I saw on the field today echoed that as well. I saw players from both teams helping each other off the turf and showing a lot of respect towards one another. I wish more teams in the B1G behaved that way. Yes I'm looking at you sparty and tsio. I think Nebraska was a great addition to our conference and I'm surprised it took as many attempts as it did to gain entry.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:14 PM ^
thanks for post husker, i think this will be a good rivalry in the future as both teams will most likely play for division champion from year to year once michigan state's magic run burns out
November 19th, 2011 at 4:15 PM ^
The birth of a rivalry? I think so. Thanks for visiting Ann Arbor. Glad you had a great experience. Hope you guys beat iowa friday and hopefully Michigan takes care of business next Saturday. Go Blue and Beat ohio!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:15 PM ^
why cant other fans be like this gentleman? class act, welcome to the big ten
November 19th, 2011 at 4:24 PM ^
Didn't neg you, but it may have been because Husker's sig line implies that she's a lady.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:17 PM ^
another great program with great fans! It's nice to have another class university and fanbase. Good luck next week and with your off season.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:17 PM ^
I hope you make an annual habit of that.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:18 PM ^
all opposing fans be like this?
Hope to see you back in Ann Arbor a couple years!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:18 PM ^
I'm also glad you've embarrassed your Ohio and E. Lansing counterparts with your class. You're welcome back here anytime on a Michigan winning weekend.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:18 PM ^
I was very excited to get Nebraska in the B1G and posts like this are confirming my beliefs about your school. Can't wait to play you guys again next year, and best of luck to you next week.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:20 PM ^
They are cheerful even in defeat. Yall are nice folks. Safe trip home!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:20 PM ^
Good to see that the fabled Lincoln sportsmanship travels as well. Here's to many years of a great rivalry that is long overdue!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:20 PM ^
I could have been in the locker room to hear Hokes postgame speech.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:24 PM ^
and totally deserved the win. Wolverines beat the Huskers in all 3 phases of the game.
I really expected a Nebraska win today and was disappointed it wasn't a more hotly contested game.
We'll get after you next year in Lincoln, Go Big Red!
November 19th, 2011 at 4:30 PM ^
We UM won the special teams war. Those fumbles and penalty on the punt really hurt Nebraska.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:32 PM ^
a long flight home lol but I give respect where respect is due. Back to corn nation :)
November 19th, 2011 at 4:24 PM ^
wow a classy Neb fan...way to be gracious in defeat red
November 19th, 2011 at 4:27 PM ^
always refreshing to hear from classy opponents.
this should develop into a great, respectful, intense rivalry.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:27 PM ^
I smell a great rivalry in the making . . . great traditions, great teams, great fanbases - a chance to show America how the game should be played on and off the field. I hope our fans are as gracious when the game goes against us.
I'm thrilled you enjoyed A2; we take our role as hosts very seriously. You make me homesick (I live in Australia now and getting back for a game will be rare indeed). I hope our fans enjoy Lincoln next year.
Win out big, Big Red . . . and GO BLUE!

Trivia: Did you know that Greg Norman had to learn to throw a Bowie Knife for his role in Crocodile Dundee?
November 19th, 2011 at 5:28 PM ^
Greg Norman is a golfer from Australia. Paul Hogan is Crocodile Dundee.
They kind of look alike though.
November 19th, 2011 at 5:37 PM ^
His highly strategic throwing of a Bowie knife ensured his 1987 Masters win...
November 19th, 2011 at 4:31 PM ^
Can't wait for the M-NU rivalry to develop over the years. My wife is saying that ND should add Nebraska to their schedule so they can lose to four B1G teams each year.
November 19th, 2011 at 4:36 PM ^
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar...
On a sidenote, I want to make it to next year's UM-Neb game, any suggestions on where to tailgate and where to hang out at night in enemy territory for a non-HUsker sorta kinda grown guy??
November 19th, 2011 at 4:36 PM ^
It's ma'am, not sir. Apparently there are women on the internet.
November 19th, 2011 at 5:07 PM ^
Wow, thanks for the heads-up ,, its the internet and you know what happens when you assume..Sorry Husker4Life
You maam, are a Lady and a Scholar!!...Still doesn't sound quite right, so I'll just say Good work and excellent post and call it a day
